I wasn't aware wetsuits are allowed in international Ironman competition? Also the use of disc wheels is a bit amazing...when did Tri-Fed approve all of this shit????

Read the rules? I think the use of wetsuits is determined on the water temperature. And different race routes and locations allow different types of wheels. The Ironman race in Kona only bans the use of disc wheels because of the erratic winds on the bike leg.
