On my 2017 Sportage all the bolts, except 19MM wheel nuts, were SAE --- could drive you crazy

@playab0yyy unsure if Sedona has same style wheel speed sensor or not, most cars have simpler abs sensor which simply is held in wheel hub with one bolt, easy to access, install.

I'm doing this job right now and I can't install the new sensor either with WD-40 or by giving it soft or a little hard, then I used a piece of wood so that when I hit it with the hammer it can be more even and nothing.

@josu31010 is it looking identical to the one that you removed ? It's a very tight fit. If it's same size as one that came out then make sure to align it evenly on hub, then you can use a 2by4 wood piece which if flat and hammer it evenly down, might require some force, I did another one recently and it wanted some decent hammering down to finally seat

Auto shop told me i need to replace both rear wire sensors. Watching your video, i think they are wrong. I think i just need to replace what you showed on the video. What do u think?

Unsure which car you have but a auto repair shop or even you if you have a diagnostic tool could access ABS module and move the car and see if all four wheel speed sensors are reading same speed, simple way to diagnose if a sensor is bad or not.

@pandydiy thanks. I have 2013 hyandai santa fe. Basically, the shop told me it's the rear wire sensors without driving the car. I was in the waiting room and I didn't see them driving the car. That's why I am thinking they are wrong and quoted me $700.

@Ace-nv6ku some models have different type of abs wheel speed sensors, some are shaped different , very common one is one that actually have a long wiring on it , and it's much easier to replace, usually held by a 10mm bolt and it simply slides into a small hole on top part of wheel spindle assembly, they might be correct

If you have hyundai dealer near by then walk in there to parts department, give them your VIN and ask them to print you a quote for rear abs wheel sensors, once you receive the quote you can type in the part numbers on the quote to confirm what's correct abs wheel sensor for your car and order them online , simple replacement

breh you sound like you just got out of school or something. the caliper was fine, if it was heavier i would say support it but they aren't made of glass. and hitting the edges of the sensor with minimal electronics? again this shit isn't made of glass. he did a good job and got his point across. if you wanna take the extra precautions go ahead but you don't have to be a bitch about it.
