7,4s from 0 to 100km/h is slow? It is not a world record but c'mon! I have a Volvo 3.2l v6 242hp, and 7.9 from 0 to 100, and it's enough for me in every situation on the road. I think, this lex is perfect balance betwen power, price, economy, and luxury. If u want to race, then go get some sport car, and do not criticize family sedan. I realy like this car, and I hope I will be able to buy one soon ;)

Lexus is all about reliability and dependability, despite having a very healthy 180kW of power, tuning for a somewhat slower acceleration means the engine won't be in a lot of stress even at full acceleration.

Had this engine in my previous 2017 IS200t F-Sport & was decent, not fast, but not slow & never got loud & buzzy when pushed hard. Had turbo lag of course, but was never overly annoying. Replaced it four years ago with my current 2016 GS350 F-Sport with the V6 which is a MUCH better engine.

If you're spending this much on a sedan, it better have performance, especially when the luxury competitors in this class smoke it. If I wanted the car to be slow, I'd just option up a Toyota Avalon and save 20k.

You get an get a used '13 BMW M5 for as much as this new. The insurance and gas would be indeed higher per month though making it like a $50k car then.

Just got my New GS 200 t, in Ultrasonic blue. I truly think this power train option is brilliant. I could hand gotten the 350 but let's face it, that engine is dated. I went for the new technology. I loved my 2014 Lexus Is250, but in with the new and I'm not looking back. I'm so happy.

The thing I like most about Lexus is their self adjustable steering. I'd buy a Lexus just because of that, but turns out it's an optional in the ES and IS.

Lexus always the best car. very nice car, I love it :) best quality, best technology, very reliable, since is a Toyota and Toyota reliability is Legendary! Japan cars last longer in any aspect. Japan rules with electronics, so the car's. What more do you want from a car? very reliable, best quality, beautiful interior and exterior, advanced technology. If you want a fast car and raging, then get the GS F. the GS 200t is not designed for racing and high speed.

Handles better than the 328 though. Besides it's one class larger and heavier than the 3 series. The 5 series is its natural competition.
