Mazda's skyactiv automatics are probably the best torque-converter auto you can get in this price range. I still wish I had picked up the 6 over the Fusion because Ford still can't make a class leading automatic.

That's a nice thought but they won't. I'm thinking they will work the same magic on the 2L like VW does with their 2L engine.

Paddle shifters are available for the CX-5 in other markets and can be sourced and installed. There is a good DIY paddle shifter installation video on youtube.

Interesting o the auto lights, i have a 2014 Mazda 6 and you can adjust when the lights come on dust or very dark and some settings in between i have it set on dusk and comes and it stays on. The auto wipers don't always work like they should though.
