Was expecting a normal Automann-TV review but I'm actually positive on this video. I think you have a nice clear voice when you're explaining the function of the buttons and modes. I'm only missing the part of you taking the viewers on a spin with timed 0-100 etc. But nice job :)

Your English is much better than I thought. As I moved to Germany at the end of last year, I got to know how an average German guy speaks English, which is definitely not the level German exchange students have. And it is really urging me studying Deutsch to avoid such awkward moments.

Do you were in East-Germany? Or try to visit a bigger city, or city with a university. It's pretty common to got nice english skills. But maybe they were just excited. I think my english is just understandable, but when it comes to talking, especially unexpectedly I'm getting very nervous and talk like I can't speak english at all. Then after the conversation I'm very angry about me talking like a stupid one 😊 and my brain starts to work and then I think what and how I should have talk. So, not everyone you talk with got no english skills, it's just the excitement 😏

Very interesting and instructive as well because you give your own personal preferences as to which settings to set according to where you drive. In my opinion Daimler have gone a bit overboard with all the options available, it feels that there is more marketing in it than real utility. I prefer Porsche philosophy offering less sophistication for more straightforward driving efficiency and user-friendly simplicity. What do you think? How would you rate the Carrera GTS vs. the Merc. on that "pilot driving settings" multi-scenarios?

Lucien Fa Hi. Just picked up a 2015 Carrera S and yes, the settings for engine, transmission, and chassis are easier (just two buttons: Sport and Sport+) but everything else is way more complicated to adjust. You don't have as much freedom or even the choice to customize settings and once you are using the Porsche head unit, compared to the Merc. its a nightmare...not really bad, but old and clunky.

I didn't know you can't adjust the steering feedback individually. If you never said anything, I would have thought that the comfort setting on the suspension didn't affect steering feedback. It's weird that they would tie those settings together.

Diesel Review Yeah, unfortunately you are not able to combine a comfort suspension with the sporty steering (how I usually do for Autobahn drive). Here you have to pick suspension "Sport" for the car to also feel stable and safe at higher speeds.

You mention the transmission in the GT-S is similar to the SLS. From what I've read, the SLS had the older Speedshift-7 (automatic tranny) whereas the GT-S has a true dual-clutch. The only dual-clutch transmissions currently made by MB (as I'm told by my local dealer) is the CLA45 AMG and the GT-S. Anyone know for sure?

SLS also had Dual-Clutch. Both should be Getrag transmission as in the Ferrari California.

TheLukas12364 Muss man mal schauen. Ich persönlich finde "Gerede" während des Fahrens erstens hinderlich und eigentlich auch störend, da gibt es nur wenige (die von dir genannten) die das anständig hinbekommen, ohne dass der eigentliche Mittelpunkte des Videos, das Auto, übertönt wird. Evtl. könnte man hier und da am Ende eines Drive & Sound ein kurzes verbales Fazit ziehen, oder einfach als Teaser für ein besonderes Fahrzeug so wie hier. Ich werde mal ein paar Dinge ausprobieren und sehen wie es euch gefällt. Der Kanal Automann-TV soll in jedem Fall im Kern erhalten bleiben und nicht (wie viele) dem Mainstream verfallen, dann gibts mich in ein paar Jahren nicht mehr;)

Einersits ist der informative Aspekt besser als im "wortlosen" Modus - aber das Englisch hört sich nicht so gut an. Viellecht ein andererTester, der aus England kommt, oder Sprachunterricht.
