2016 Mini Cooper Countryman This was one of the most difficult radio removal, Remove the solar sensor plug on the top center dash, remove the sensor, remove a screw then remove the grill, remove mickey mouse trim 😉, remove silver trims next to the radio, remove driver side panel and the panel blow, remove 3 screws then pull out the bottom dashboard, remove passenger side panel and remove the bottom panel, remove screws on the side and the bottom of the glove box, remove passenger side kick panel, pull top of the airbag to access the screws holding the glove box, now remove screws on the center dash,remove rubber mats on the cup holder and back of the geat shifter and remove screws, pull back the center panel to get the access to a one more screw under the cigarette lighter. remove the bottom panel, then pull face off. remove screws to remove the radio. use t harness. you need to move out the fiberoptic cable and then insert it to the harness. male goes to the radio, and the female plugs into the car side ,run microphone and aux cable, go to multimedia, and then choose aux. connect the Bluetooth and the wifi, push the home button for 5 seconds to get to carplay or android auto
if you are using an aftermarket reverse camera ,goto setting, goto reverse camera, select reverse camera off.

Most of the mini uses the same monitor .The best bet is to remove the monitor and match the part number
