I drive a 2015 Nissan Murano S! I have almost 150,000 miles on it and have had no problem with it. I don't have a charcoal interior like the one in the video. mine is a blonde interior and I think the tan seats make the interior look a lot better. you'all have to remember that this is the base model and that if you upgrade the trims than you will have a way nicer interior. the suv is very similar to the Ford edge and I believe the Nissan Murano is at most 10 times better than the edge. the Nissan is more luxerious and have a more reliable and a better value

In hot weather, there's something positive to be said about having cloth seats vs. leather. Sometimes I wish even upper end trims offered a premium cloth as an option. With that, I do appreciate this review...there are plenty of reviews of cars in the high-end trim, but for people on a budget, it's good to see reviews that look at base or mid-level trim. I don't think I will be able to afford a Platinum, but an SV or SL edition may be doable for my budget.

We have a 2015 Murano SL, and love it. We just took a 2000 mile trip and it drives very well on long trips, we also got between 29-30MPG loaded with four people and luggage. The leather seats on the SL are clearly superior to the base fabric. Before purchasing we looked at Infiniti and didn't see a point in paying more money for similar quality and features. The platinum is even better, but we had to draw the line somewhere.

For a base model. In 2016. Coming standard with an 8” nav. Is big. I would’ve had to go to a higher trim rogue to get everything in the base Murano. And it was only like 1500$ more to get a Murano at that point then the high level rogue. For plastics. There’s leather trim stitching everywhere. Soft touch all over the dash. There’s literally barely any plastic in the base Murano. I’ve been in the SV too. It just has a leather wrapped wheel.

I have the platinum it is a great car. It is amazing how different the trims are. It should have an infinity symbol instead. I went with this because it had the best v6 gas mileage out of the competitors. Did you try that root beer float yet?? Lol

This is in the range of the most basic Murano. The SL would be much farther ahead. As for myself, I will be getting the Platinum. The Platinum approaches the Infiniti version of this format of vehicle.

The model shown here was the base line S model Murano, step up to the SL or Platinum series and you are in a much better ride. Remember when you buy cheap you get cheap, so step up the game and get the SL series Murano.

I've loved the Murano, except for the 2010 body style. I had a 2005 however, the transmission went bad. I currently own a 2007, I love THAT body style. I'm not sold on the newer body style, and the fact that Nissan has had sooo many issues with the CVT, I think I'm going to Toyota.

Not sure why this is not compared to the CRV(the king of SUvs) murano has same exterior dimensions as crv. Both are 14ft long and both weigh 2 tons. It it is a compact on exterior but mid sized interior with much more hp than the other 5seater cvt suv. Murano is the new king of then5seaters with speed, tech, style dll better than crv. It even goes gurthernonna tanknof gas. No 4cylinder turbos here. It still goes o-60in 7. 1 faster than most 4banger turbos that are much smaller.

The heart of the Murano is its powerful engine!. Yes, it uses the 370Z's engine, skeleton, transmission, etc. Fastest SUV around.

That would be great. All the consumer reviews I'm reading are from vehicles w/ < 20,000 miles. Not of much help regarding my primary concern. KBB gave it overall rating of 8.5, US News 8.9. It is a 3rd generation so I'm hoping they have all the bugs worked out by now??? I'm looking at a 2015 Murano SL AWD w/ 12,766 miles.

Dont Buy Nissan, I owned a Nissan Murano years ago, its the worse decision I made to buy this scrap. Not only the quality its poor, but the service. I live in Mexico and the Nissan shops are very corrupt, they steal the people by not doing the service they should. Tons of people report they don’t get the oil changes and replacement parts they charge. Problems are never solved properly and there are tons of complaints. I am glad they are sawing what they deserve. I made may complaints and never receive attention, Now I am with Honda, Ford and GM. Better quality at least for the same or better price cars.

Watch out on the design of the Nissan Murano 2018. Have a 2017 model and the dashboard trim/vent which are light colored are casting it's image on both side mirrors. In my opinion a Very Bad Safety Design. You would not have a clear view of what is on the vehicles sides during daylight ours. Watch out ... Called Nissan and they don't care about it, said it is not a factory defect. So, see for yourselves.

I just hate this interior design. Not only this stone age cloth makes me crazy, look at the transmission knob, the neck, that whole thing looks like my old dad's car in the 80s. It drives me nuts. I do like the exterior though.

theMediaMart Snap? Personally, I haven’t seen that problem. The known issues involve other components within the transmission. The driven pulley usually has metal bands in between the two elastic material that hold them together.
