Guys I fixed mine in 10 minutes. It’s just the two screws on the sides. Pop it up and use an Allen wrench to tighten it in after pushing the roof up into place. put the covers back on the sides, done!

Great Video! Thanks for posting. Very informative and you did great job. For others who may hear a squeaking noise around the seal. I have a 2015 and I cleaned and lubricated the seal around the sunroof. I used a silicone spray on a rag and applied it around the seals that touch either. No more squeaking.

Hey thanks so much for posting! I have 2019 Rogue with sunroof, I can hear the rattling noise when on bumpy roads, but I hear it when the sunroof is closed- wonder if that’s the same issue as this?

I've got a 2015. It makes a squeaking noise when it gets cold (anything below 50 degrees) sounds like those old styrofoam boxes bumping together. Would this most likely be the same issue? In other words would this fix my problem? Thanks

Ian Hanson it may be the same so if the sunroof is loose it with cause the two rubber seals to rub together and make the noise your describing , open the sunroof and see if it has any play/movement , if not my other suggestion is take some silicone lube and apply to rag and apply the lube on the rubber molding , that’s should also help .

Another thing you can also try is silicone line spray some on a paper towel open the sunroof slightly and coat the rubber seals around the glass sometimes the seals become dry and can cause a squeaking noise .

I have the same issue , but it seems is the very back of the moonroof left side

The sunshades are a bit of a pain you may need to make sure that the clip that rides on the track is not broken first
