Great video. I'm glad that Dave got to get out and take part in this JKX. He mentioned in the video where you were at his BBQ restaurant that he was hoping to participate. It would be a life time experience to do this some day. Keep up the great videos.

What a great trip. Thank you for letting me relive the experience, you captured the feel of the adventure perfectly. I can't wait to see where JKX goes next, and I hope I am able to continue being a part of it. Thanks again, awesome job everyone on the JKX crew!

Fantastic video! You guys looked like you had such a great time! Really freaked me out in the beginning is how "tropical" looking the forest was and with the amount of mud, something people from the lower 48 would not expect. Look forward to see more of your adventures!

Boy, this looks great. My favorite JK at moment is Chris Durham's LCG beast ...I couldn't believe seeing South Carolina plates in Alaska! He had to be the furthest from home. Certainly he had it trailered across the country to Nevada or somethin, right? Man, what I would give to bring my rig along with a group like this. Good video, Mel.

Awesome. I grew up in Anchorage and used to go out to Palmer to camp with friends and ride our ATV's around by Knik Glacier which is where they went at the end of the video. We always camped at a place called Jim Creek where it flowed into the Knik River. If the river was low enough we could ride all the way to the glacier. It was the best.

When you say on the website for requirements, "Must be self sufficient with tools and spare parts" what "spare parts" are recommended to bring? Also, does that mean, mechanical problems as I'm not a mechanic. Does that matter? I would love to do this in a couple years! Looks absolutely amazing!!
@heytherebato6 жыл бұрын
Of course it means mechanical problems, you need to now your rig inside and out for when things break.

Did you forge new roads in many of these places? Or just tear up existing roads, making it worse for locals and other tourists. The adventure = Cool. Tearing up the environment unnecessarily to "Explore"... = Fail. Truly disappointed. : ( (If this is off base from the "whole" JK experience, then you and your sponsors need to edit your vide footage better to show both sides of the experience... not just every other shot of tearing up shit for no reason. When needed, sure thing. but that's not what you portrayed at all.)
