Just a quick walk-through of my 2016 Toyota tundra and the modifications I did to it. I love this truck, drives great and gives me around 11 miles per gallon LOL!

I don’t have anyone to impress. I bought Toyota because of reliability and functionality. Once you start cutting into a factory framework you are changing the integrity of the vehicle. Being this is for my family transportation,I won’t test the waters with these radical mods. Each to their own,but prefer my truck on the road opposed to being on jack stands.🤔👍

Hey that's true just to give you heads up my son used to own a Duramax 2018 and all he had was problems He's a car hauler so he went with a Ford f-450 dually this thing is badass fully loaded when he had the Duramax was more in the shop than in the street so it was a making no money but with the Ford he's been making big bucks good luck Hope you find what you like just do your studies because I know there are pretty expensive Good luck

I was gonna do a 6" rough country, but ive decided to switch to a 7" BDS. Gonna swap for 22x12's on 35's instead of 20x10. My hope is there is gonna be little rubbing

So..... after alot of back and forth. My final decision is 7in. Pro comp lift with coilover shocks. With 22x12 with 35 nitto ridge grapplers. Everything has been ordered. Thanks for your vid, it helped with the decision making. Will let you know if the extra inch will help from the rubbing

I noticed you chopped the front and removed the liner... did you not have to chop the cab mount behind your front tire? BMC/NorCal whatever you want to call it seems like it’s necessary when going to a 12 wide -44 or anything over a 10 wife actually.

I got it ceramic coated but yes you can never avoid the swirls.

Nice truck... Did you regear it, did you supercharger it... I want to do a 6" lift on my 2020 tundra using readylift... With these same tyres. With a supercharger installed... I don't know if I'll have steering vibration on high speed... Does the lift affect the alignment, wheel balancing or smooth movement?

The size of the wheels (12 inch) and the 35" tires does effect steering yes. I would not say it vibrates but it def does not feel stock, but it looks badass! No supercharger on mine.

Yes we cut part of the frame. If you do 22x10 it would be fine but I wanted 22x12. Actually sold the truck now going for a f350 dually and 10 inch lift on 26s lol

I wouldn’t say it is the same quality as stock it is a lot louder. I put 35s on 22s I’m sure if I did a leveling kit and 33s it would be better but the truck wouldn’t look how it does. This thing gets more compliments then any of my other cars current or past.

Tires stick out too far beyond the fenders. Debris flying across the side of the truck sand blasting the paint, why do this. The opening looks too large. Is this truck ever leaving the street anyway. I own a 2016 Limited just like this and see no point in ever doing this. Want a Jeep Wrangler just buy one for hard off road use.👍
