The 2016 California Relays Track & Field meet was held at Cerritos College on March 18 and 19. The Girls 1600M Invitational race featured the fastest seeded runners. Top finishers were:
1 Gallardo, Jessica 12 Bishop Amat 5:05.31
2 Holloway, Sarah 9 Los Osos 5:07.83
3 Holton, Erin 11 Rancho Cucamonga 5:17.51

Why does this race have 1.7m views? I was expecting some sort of theatrics.

Less than 2% of the views are U.S. Over 75% are in India. Used to be 95%. Yet, there is no Indian citizen in the race that we can discern. This video took off about 4 years ago when we were still young. Our understanding was that it was a recommended view in that country. Gained a million views within a few months. Now, as the top count on our channel, people watch it for that reason alone.

Like, all this girls are amazing college athletes (especially Jessica Gallardo), but this is in no way anything beyond a school record.
