Thank you thank you thank you for not providing us pictures from a go pro the entire time. This is getting so old! Great review.

Good Review..... I bought me an Octane and totally love this bike. Been riding almost 40 years and have ridden most everything at one time or another but nothing in a Long Time that has been as much fun and as easy to handle as this OCTANE.

I almost disliked and left a rude comment because I thought the whole video was going to be pictures. I'm glad I stuck in there this was a great video

Thanks for the feedback and point taken. We definitely dragged the images out too long - there is a lot to show of the Octane. Good point though and will keep it in mind in the future thanks! Jeff.

No problem man I don't know if you have seen the videos but they say something along the lines of 2017 figi glyder 2000 review and the whole video is like 20 minutes of slide show pictures.

Actually the Indian Scout came the Victory Octane 156 platform but both are awesome iron horses, rock on Polaris. 👍😎

Great review, I put my deposit down on the Octane and became sick of waiting for it's arrival in Australia and changed to the Scout. I think the Octane is a great bike but I'm pleased I changed to the Scout. I prefer the longer gearing and the looks of the Scout. My biggest gripe is the service intervals are 4000klms or 2485 miles which is becomes quite expensive if you decide to use the bike.

Peter C you made the right choice bro and the Indian is the better of the two, there was too much hype about the Octane, it was a marketing lie. you will be happier with the Scout I'm sure. Ride safe.

great review that point out a lot of issues on this new bike from victory. Personally think this bike can be equip with better brakes, better style design rather than just a copy paste from Indian Scout with less chrome. It may have better and more powerful engine in the 1200cc class cruisers, but it just lack bit of personality when you compare with Harley Davidson sportster 1200 series.

I test rode the octane this past Saturday it is a very impressive bike for what it is. I'm torn between the octane and the Indian scout both are very nice.

jose gomez get the Indian. try both and I think you will find the Indian the better bike. I found the ride on the Octane too uncomfortable and too much vibration. Try it for yourself and then decide. good luck.

I liked the Review style, only thing missing for me was the obligatory firing up of the engine to give us a listen to whats waiting for you when ya turn the key 🔑.
Very different. You need to test ride to really make a decision.

Please tell me this bike will still be able to be bought in about 5 years time. Im not old enough yet to get unrestricted!

Sadly with Victory winding up you won't get a new one but I'm sure there will be some used ones around, though not many as they have not been selling high numbers unfortunately. What a bummer!

An interesting accent. Brummie/Australian I would say. Good video and a shame about Victory's demise.

This is Victory Scout, lol! Sorry but really ugly! Maybe they have some juice but I would buy a new HD Roadster instead with no second thought
@tracysweny3508 жыл бұрын
Yep George, guess since Victory and Indian are both owned by Polaris (The Largest motosport builder/dealer) in the world you could call it either a Scout Victory or Victory Indian or even an INDIAN VICTORY "My Favorite". But After biking almost 40 years HD is just always gonna be HD...... Not much more to be said there. Glad I am old enough to still have second thoughts..... I bought me a Indian Victory OCTANE, and am sure glad I did, after test riding the 883, 1200 Sportster, and a V-rod. All good bikes... but none handled as well, or were as much fun to ride as the OCTANE. LOL last laugh.... havin FUN

Tracy Sweny good for you bro. Sounds like you're happy with your choice. I found the VRod a lot more bike than the Octane not just in power but also comfort wise. I'm glad it worked out for you. Ride safe and enjoy.

Yeah add a few miles on that HD then it starts falling apart. Polaris motorcycles are more dependable, numbers don't lie. Look it up
