2017 2018 Flexible Seating Classroom Tour

At first I thought that I went to an elementary school with huge classrooms, but maybe it's just because I went to a school with hardly any students (the average class size was 20, though most classrooms had less than that). I'm actually starting the path to an education degree and want to teach in the district where I went to school. This video has made me excited to be "Mr. Holmes" to a bunch of kids soon.

I said the same thing to Jennifer, you have stuff but its all organized and put away. Your room doesn't look crowded but with 36 students, I can see how it might feel that way. Anyway, I love how you set up your flexible seating and I cant wait to see how its working with 36 students in there.

Your room is absolutely gorgeous. You have done a wonderful job. I didn't think it looked crowded at all, but I would imagine that when the kids turn up with all of their supplies, things will get quite full.

My biggest class in k-6 was 6th grade at 27 students. 5th grade was 25 and all grades below that ranged from 18 to 21. Middle school and high school easily have 30 kids, one of my classes had 32.

That is a huge class!! The biggest class at my school is 19 or 20. I'll have 15 when we start but two are expected to move by December.
