Got mine delivered today. Install was a breeze w this video. They look sweet. One thing to make easier for halogen guys is to just turn the bulb connectors 1/4 turn and remove from taillight housing and remove tailight.. then just go back and remove the bulbs and install new ones as the video describes. Literally 10min job...

So, my aftermarket tail lights got a leak and need to be replaced. I had a helluva time getting the hyper flash to stop on my halogen set-up. Turns out it was a simple adjustment within the Forscan system. Found a KZbin video showing the settings and took a screenshot to show the Ford tech. Took seconds once they finally listened to me. No resistors needed. I just ordered these. So I hope everything is as simple as plug and play, with no resistors.

Awesome upgrade! I couldn’t tell clearly from the video but are these very bright from directly behind when only the parking/running lights are on? From your video demo these don’t seem to be as visible to following traffic as the OEMs when just the running lights are on.

Morimoto needs to build tails for15-17 F-150 that have the bliss system.....not sure why they haven't!

will the lights on the smoked version be as bright as the lights on the red version ? i have an iconic silver platinum and i'm thinking the smoked would look better than the red, but i don't want to loose any light brightness because of the smoked lens. thanks for the great video.

The difference is very very small, not enough to be a deciding factor on which color you want I would say. Smoked is still extremely bright for a taillight, much better than factory at that! Look up PowerStroke talk with A-Rod he has a complete breakdown on adding the third brake light it requires adding pins as the F250 don’t have the needed pins.

I have the XB headlight on my 2018 super duty right now and I am super happy with them. I've been waiting for these taillights since. I love the look but wished the new taillights would have been sequential just like the headlights. Before I make that order is there a slight chance these XB tail lights come with a sequential option?

I just installed mine the other day and the instructions included showed the 3.75 resistor for the 17-19 incandescent with Bliss. They were even pre-installed on lights. I am getting intermittent hyper flash. Am I supposed to be using the 7.5 resistors?

I am also getting the hyper flash in the dash, I have tried both resistors the taillights flash normally though. Pretty aggravating

I just installed the new mirror lights and they aren’t working right either. About done giving my money to Morimoto.

@@afjets20 I bought the mirror lights too. They worked for about a week. They turn on when I unlock my truck, but shut off after I start the engine. Remote start or with the key. Every once in a while they’ll come on at night but they don’t blink at all when I set my blinker. They stay solid.

@@VeryOddTimes I sent my mirror lights back. I would get them again if I could be guaranteed they would work. Not sure if it had something to do with my taillights which are now fixed. It’s nerve wracking popping off the mirrors so I’m very hesitant to go through all that again.

Hell yeah….ordering mine tomorrow it’s been a long time coming. I would suggest adding dielectric grease in the connectors. Update - Ordered mine today and they went straight to backorder till 09/28/22…kinda bummed 🫤 …
