I think the 500 Abarth has more personality and would argue that it is a more smiles per mile in it than the 124 Spider Abarth. However, the 124 Spider handles better and with some mods I think it can match the 500 Abarth's personality. Personally, I am torn between the two having just test drove both in the US. At the time of the test drive, I felt that the 500 Abarth had a tad bit more power. Great cars!

My USDM 500 Abarth: heated leather seats, Beats audio (I have a 2015, 2012 and 2013 came with Bose IIRC), and cruise control. Would love a 6th gear. Our Automatic 500 Abarth’s come with a 6th gear, but the gearing is pretty short so you don’t see the expected MPG bump.

Your 595 for me. Your 595 would however look pretty cool with a few touches of red paint on it, a little like the spiders wing mirrors and front bumper valance. Nice vid again 👍

hello again Stef, maybe you should name it what car would you buy ? daily car . the 595 or 695 wins hands down . the first thing the second I hit the road with the 124 I made my choise. 124 at 120kmh about 90 mph the wind noise is horrrible . And a bigger problem is i didnt fit as well in the 124 as in the 595. i am 5.8 210 lbs ( gym guy ) so it was the 695 all the way. greetz and nice vid btw

I'm looking at the 500 over the 124 simply due to the fact I currently own a Toyota MR2 Spyder. While I get more compliments and head turns in the car than any other car I've owned, from Camaro to BMW, and it is very reliable and fun to drive, it simply doesn't turn my head the way the Abarth cars do. I think a 124 will be too similar to my MR2. And since I'm going to be getting rid of my truck, I need something that can haul my stuff around since I will be moving a lot over the next couple years at the very least. The 124 Spyder can't fit much at all and the 500 can fit everything I own that I'm not willing to throw away/donate all in a single trip.

Normie Peasant ...well I'm that guy who's not on FaceSpace. My original 500Madness piggy back was put on with about 3500 miles on the clock and now had 51K, no issues and I even had the 93 MaxPower upgrade done last year, no issues, thoughts?

That's awesome that your experience with them is good! I'd never wish that you had faulty parts, even if from a vendor I don't use. I'm not saying that everybody who's used Madness products has been unhappy with them, just that it seems to be a meme for good reason. I'm sure some of that has to do with the image of the company/owner rather than the products. In my experience, enough people that I trust have had issues with them on many levels so I put my money somewhere else. That place is Eurocompulsion. Still haven't had a bad experience on any level and I've spent A LOT of money on their site haha. They currently have intakes, tunes, and many other perfromance mods for the 124 (Fiat and Abarth models). I'm not sure if there are differences in the NA version vs EU version tho, that might affect purchases made from the EU.

You're comparing apples to oranges mate. The 500 offers the practicality of the hatchback, the 124 pure open top pleasure. I'd just take both!!! 😁👍

Not the transmission, clutch depends on the turbo you out on. A progressive power delivery the stock should be ok. An aggressive delivery you prob will need a updated clutch.
