Man that first clip is what got me started with blender. Truly thanks without you I definitely would not be where I am (And I’ve been wondering ever since how you made the inside a different color that the outside?
@BlenderRookie6 жыл бұрын
I basically create multiple cubes. All of them are emitters. Each cube is solidified and the inner cubes are smaller than the outer cubes. The size difference from one cube to another is the width of 4 particles. Here's the project. drive.google.com/file/d/0B5-VBc4e0xVdTTJSdnhMVlM1MGM/view?usp=sharing

It will be a while. The rendering part can be done in real time for the most part with a high end machine. But the physics portion is a lot further off.

I found this really satisfactory, thanks. Those simulations look really heavy, I mean the physic calculations and path tracing that blender uses, any idea of the computer used to render them? Edit: I just have read the description haha
@BlenderRookie4 жыл бұрын
LOL I was just about to tell you what I used. Probably most of these were made before I upgraded to the B350 and added the 2nd GPU. But other than that the specs in the description were mostly correct.

@@BlenderRookie oooh interesting, that means I could do some cool stuff like that, I was thinking you needed to have a NASA computer or something to run such simulations, keep it up!

@BlenderRookie6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I actually downloaded Blender in 2015 but when I opened it, nothing seemed intuitive and I had zero experience with 3D or 3D animations, so I let it sit until September 2016 when I finally decided to give it a try. So I guess September 2016 is about the start.

how do you make 2 fluid domains interact?! Or is it all particles with properties?
@BlenderRookie6 жыл бұрын
If you mean as in 51:32 that's not domain fluids. That's particle fluids with each particle emitter's particles having an isosurface applied to it with an addon called Cubesurfer.

Hi! You made a really impressive video! Can you give us some information about the plugins you used? You mentioned "Cubesufer Addon" but what about molecular addon or flipfluids addon? The particles colliding with them selfes looks like you used something special :-D Would be happy to read about it :-D
@BlenderRookie6 жыл бұрын
I used the cubesurfer and molecular script. But I didn't use Flip. I tried Flip but thus far have been unable to get it to work. Those are the only two I used. But for the rigid body fracturing I used the Fracture Modifier version of Blender that you can get from here. blenderphysics.com/fracturemodifier/
@goddamnmaddog20246 жыл бұрын
thanks for your quick reply! Are you planning on making a tutorial for animation number 1? Parhaps just a little tip to get me in the right direction. have you used vextor math? How did you get the sharp cube shaped layers? the glowing core is really nice to look at.

I don't plan on making a tutorial but here is the project file for that. But the project uses the molecular script. So it won't work unless you have that installed. drive.google.com/file/d/0B5-VBc4e0xVdTTJSdnhMVlM1MGM/view?usp=sharing
