Hey all. I have this car and the back seats are incredibly comfortable. Getting in and out of there is awkward, but once you're ensconced, you're apt to fall asleep like a baby - if you're 6' or under, anyway. If you are 6'3", then sit in the front and put the shorter people back there. If you're some gangly dude like this guy and need to sit in the back then, by all means, get an A8L. This is one of the most beautiful and exciting cars I've ever had and it's a keeper.

Whilst I don't own a Rapide like yourself, I've been a passenger in a 2010 Rapide and found a lot of the reporting about the lack of rear space to be slightly disingenuous. I'm 5ft 9 and was behind a driver who was 5ft 11 and had enough space. It wasn't commodious but it was far from uncomfortable and it was a 2.5 hour journey. There are many worse rear seats out there! Yes, if you're 6ft + the rear seats would be a bit shit particularly if you're also behind a driver who's 6ft+. However, I think you'd have to be a very large person to have the seat all the way back in a Rapide. Probably a minimum 6ft 4/6ft 5 and 250lbs and if that's the case, there are a lot of cars out there where you'd be pretty uncomfortable sitting behind someone like that.

@@elvingallard7255 Well, after 4 years, I sold it and moved on to something with 4 wheel drive cause I moved north. But I never had a single thing go wrong with the Rapide S. I miss it.

Anyone who thinks an Audi S7 is in some way competition for this Aston is totally missing the point. No-one will give the Audi a second glance. The Aston is automotive royalty and it will fill you with pride and satisfaction at an achievement in a way very few cars possibly can!

Liked how he said short friends but didnt comment how he is too tall. 5 10 to 6' works fine for back seat unless someone too tall is driving. When people are too tall they always have issues in sports cars sadly.

I own this car....absolutely live it! Rear seats are only there if by chance I need them. Otherwise they don't get used. Plenty of room in the front with seats all the way back.

if you had an rs7 performance the valet wouldn't confuse it for an a7 instead they will confuse it for an A6

I saw rapid in last witch hunter movie too.. this machine was looking gorgeous. You need a good looking overcoat wearing attitude in face expression and an Aston Martin.. thats it, you have outclass even higher class too..

Maybe the most beautiful sedan of all time, in my opinion. The big grille is a little gross but, the fact that that's the only grille is why I love it! I would love to own one, one day! I'll wait a few years until you can get one for $60-80k.

Bernard Tanujaya They been hiding where the people have bank accounts. A turbo 4 is a joke in a luxury car if any type. Even Jaguar screwed up offering the F type with a turbo 4. That's to lower price to sell more to the less inclined.

Its not only about space only.. just coz of rear seats also, the whole interior is so gorgeous.. the headliner, oh i am in love and with that... if someone really wants to own an aston martin then vantage v8 and v12 could be his ticket.. they are cheaper than rapide, vanquish.

+John Dads - Completely false. I've been a passenger in a Rapide and they're not nearly as cramped as reviewers like this suggest. It's certainly not commodious and it's slightly claustrophobic due to the transmission tunnel but I was pretty comfortable behind a driver who was 5ft 11 and I'm 5ft 9. I was a passenger in the back for 2.5 hours and felt relatively refreshed afterwards. There are much worse ways to travel that's for sure. Average height and slightly taller people up to 6ft 1 would be fine. I'm sure he could fit a lot better in the back if I was in the driving position as well. You've got to remember that this reviewer is a tall guy at 6ft 3/1m 91 and is almost certainly an outlier. Have you ever tried being a passenger in a Ghibli, XE, 3 Series, C Class, A3/A4, X Type if the seat is all the way back?!! I have and there's also no room for tall people (6ft +) in the back with the front seat in that position. Not many 6ft 3 people are going to be comfortable in the backseat of a car with the front seat all the way back unless they're travelling in an S Class, A8, Range Rover, Panamera or 7 Series. Plus, I can't see how anyone would need the seat all the way back unless they were 6ft 5+ and 300lbs. If you're an enormous family (2 parents and 2 children all above 6ft) then this isn't the car for you. If you're all average sized, there's no problem.

Car is nice. But I have never understood people who have bought cars for 200 000 dollars. Does it make sense to spend a lot of money for 4 000 lbs of iron. This is just a car, not house! There were so many not worth cars for much less costs. You can buy Audi for example for 50 000 . I am not a millionaire, but even I were one, I would never spent 200 000 to buy car. The person must be the very fan of cars to buy so expensive cars. Or to be crazy. And I can not see big difference between cars for 200 000 and cars for 50-70 000.

This was a horrible car. Funny that they use parts bin from other makers. FYI that is a Ford engine ppl. Lol. Yep it is two 3.0l Ford Taurus engines stick together. A few other bits from others also but this is why this car with 50k you find cheaper then a Honda Accord.
