Nice fast review, I currently have a Rapide and it is indeed a fantastic car. Owned a DB9 for 6 years before the Rapide. Astons are extremely well built and reliable. Can be used as a dialysis driver. They are not maintenance hogs like other exotics. Part are very expensive but very well made. The Aston V12 is a solid engine and one of the best V12 ever made. Heads and intake manifolds designed by Porsche. The Rapide will be a collectors car since it is gorgeous and the last normally aspirated V12 you can buy other than Ferrari

@@jaycrzy5737 i love it! For me there is no better car. It's so special. Every time I see, I burst into laughter. Same with driving. When I start it and take it through the gears, oh man. It's not turbo charged like GT63 but it's so satisfying the way it builds power and THE SOUND! I drive it with windows down in the winter...Just to hear that unique noise that is going away forever. for what it's worth, my friend has an AMG GT and I am thoroughly unmoved by it. It feels big, it doesn't make a great noise, and there are 10 million mercs on the road. The GT63 is even less special, although it maybe more practical and probably faster...If you want pure speed, then yeah, GT63, M5, RS7 are good choices, but if you want a unique experience and can afford an Aston Martin, you won't regret it. The prices have dropped a little bit although availability is very sparse.. It's pretty much now or never. Good luck!!!

@@kovacsfilip4513 it needed a new battery when I got but since then I drove it 3,000 miles without a single issue! The dealer told not to turn off the car until the engine reaches operating temperature. I have been doing this religiously and maybe it is helping! Good luck!

You’d have to be driving it pretty hard, or in a City to only get 8mpg! I’ve had two Rapide S’s and averaged 23 mpg to the UK gallon on normal day to day driving!

That key isn’t the valet key. It’s the genuine key which is just super cheap looking.

@@1stdefenseinc The manual calls it a spare key...The main purpose being reprogramming new key should the glass key be lost. No mention of valet anything in the manual. :)

Rapide AMR is the stripped out road legal racing version. Think Porsche 911 Carrera Vs GT3.

Performance mostly Bit diffrent Interieur without heated seats in the back Diffrent brakes and ride, more hp, wilder exaust and new steering rack and transmission is faster
