They’re very similar, the RS3 just feels stronger it has wider tyres and more power, but a smarter buy would be the R because it’s just as capable especially on the road…

Your right re the interior. The new car has a cheap interior. They should have kept the 8v interior in the 8y, and the 8y would be perfect.
