The screen is adjustable up and down on the go with the knob on the right,very effective and easy to use.
@TheDonInLondon7 жыл бұрын
+Jeff Donovan yes it is much easier than the one on the KTM so you can adjust on the fly. Shame about the screen being so flimsy though

Bought mine yesterday. Triple black has the black buttons. (Not grey). Had my Kawasaki 1000 versys for about 10 months and loved it but the Beemer, well, superb. (You should move to an English city though mate).

Congratulations buddy!!! It is a great bike but i did buy something else, feel free to check out my last posted video to find out what. I live in London so not sure what you meant by the last bit though.
@ScragNath6 жыл бұрын
I took out the KTM 1290 duke, Triumph Tiger 1200 Adventure and settled for the BMW GS1200 Triple Black (£18,500). When I said move to an English city I meant that London is no longer recognised by English people as an English City (No offence to you but our Capital needs moving to somewhere in England).

You did a good job mate. When you start a new channel it takes a fair amount of time for KZbin to really start promoting what you do. As your channel grows it speeds up with strength. The first 2k subs seems to take forever and it's such a lot of work but you just keep pushing on. Some people don't get to that. I have subscribed and good luck mate👍

Thanks Don. This is my bike, only difference is i have the Keyless and the Akrpovic BMW HP end can. The GSAP (Gear shift assist Pro) is great. Mine is 2017 model and is seamless up and down, My 2015 ADV also had it but wasn't as smooth. Anyway,..... The hint is in the title of the option, "Assist" You need to become familiar with it and use it at the correct opportunities for it to work seamless. Slow speeds around town is not particularly suitable. Ill subscribe now to see (Hopefully) you take one RTW ;-)
@TheDonInLondon7 жыл бұрын
+Nigel Collinson thanks buddy! Yes you are right as this was the first time ever riding a bike with this option. So far the bmw GSAP is the smoothest from all the bikes i have ridden now. Lets see what i decide to buy. Thanks for the support and feel free to check out my othe videos too!!

Great Video Dude. I'll give You my 2 cents worth (opinion), go with the BMW GSA. Will outlast the KTM in EVERY aspect. Just for a start, fuel range, shaft drive (you don't want to be dealing with chains & sprockets in the middle of no where) etc... Have Subscribed :).

Nice amateur vid...can I suggest you get to know the bike and all the little details before you do the vid.The height issue that is adjustable and 70mm lower would clearly be better for you....and nav dial are important features that your viewers would like to know about.Also you missed the keyless option and security features which are important...same with the switch for the beam light being on the front...and the various range options...for one rider vs 2 with or without luggage...The mirrors also lack blind spots...this is a big deal along with LOADS of other features...How can you promote or talk about a bike if you don't know the bike?You have an endearing style in how you talk but give us more info bro!...I have liked and subscribed nonetheless.Good luck with your round the world trip.

Sufficient review but your riding is reckless and irresponsible for someone that is showing others a motorcycle. Lane splitting and sharing??? - try that in Palermo at rush hours and tell me how it goes/ after you readjust your helmet and assess the injuries to you and your borrowed bike.
@TheDonInLondon3 жыл бұрын
Well good thing I am in London filtering which is completely legal mate. Not everyone understands but I fully expect people to comment on my riding rather than the review which takes me a lot of time to create for others to watch... cheers pal
@matthewwalker97153 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you get it. Your videos are an influence - not just for the product but you display of it- whether legal or not- in London Proper- sharing lanes- May mot be enforced- but technically it is illegal and YOU CANNOT deny Dangerous! Have you taken a motorcycle safety course? Otherwise I don’t think you can defend your manner of riding. I appreciate the BMW review- but also consider that your riding can also influence inexperienced riders- are you wholly innocent if they die trying to be cool - tooling around after watching your video. All I am saying is take that into consideration when doing next video. If you still don’t know what I mean- watch TheMissendenFlyer. Cheers! Stay safe.
@TheDonInLondon3 жыл бұрын
@@matthewwalker9715 i got bored reading that, not here to see people crying about my riding. I have plenty of experience and know what I am doing. Not advertised speeding, wheelies, burnout etc... if you don't like it jog on, simple. Not a professional channel so please do us a all a favour
@jeffandrews62255 жыл бұрын
Wont be long before your another london crash statistic. You need to do some familiarisation of the bike before you do a video instead of finding out about things as you are riding it. Enjoyed the close ups and music when you stopped talking oterwise a poor review👎
