@@TheDonInLondonwent to the CBT centre did 3 hours n then got stopped n told too come back on Thursday lol after getting to the part of shifts up n down did it 6 times n the instructor was nowhere to be seen for 20 mins n then had a 10 min convo with his mate n got in a huff and told me I lacked confidence lol i bought the bike on Monday n rode it 45 mins home no problem just seemed to me he wanted to rush n get to the pub on a Friday

That's weird, is the bike sitting level? The bike needs to be cold when you see the oil level now straight after a ride

It's on the centerstand. Sitting over night it will drop from full to three quarters full. The tank is empty after sitting a month.

Ahh is a little more complicated than the horn, needed to do a lot of retro fitting but also not really so simple to use whilst riding 😅

I bought pistons with the rings it was set with. If that was true then im sure my bike would have had issues already and have done 6k with the new engine build

@@TheDonInLondon ohhhh i was just thinking u reused the rings my bad amazing job tho i wasnt hating at all you definetly got more balls than me… im scared for the day i have to do this cause i cant afford a shop to do the work my fz1 is at 9400 miles so hopefully its a long time before i have that issue😂

@dylanmaiville2414 no all good buddy not to worry. Well this was more expensive to fix than to just purchase a second hand engine but I wanted to learn all about them. Engines are strong but update your stator and keep an eye on any chain sounds like I had. Thanks for dropping comments

@@TheDonInLondon i did the rotor upgrade with the rmstator brand one with the magnets enclosed in the case and i would like to check the chain tensioner this winter ill keep an eye out for any chain slap sounds tho and maybe do it before winter how would i tell if its going bad? If it pushes in really easy?

I did get original parts for the engine apart from the piston. Exhaust is not original but the bike is running beautifully and still running today

Its a bit heavier of course but once you are moving it is easy. Just need to practice

Yes seems weird but if you check there is access to the bearing on the other side with an additional cover and seal

Get a pair of pliers and yank it out, they are tightly squashed inside. 👍
