Thanks for the review! I'd definitely rock one of these as a fun/weekend car. You know, if I had the money to burn. haha Considering what it is, how it's made, the time put into it, and the BMW tie-in, I'm not surprised by the price and think it's fitting for the vehicle. Seems like a high-quality build from a very small company so nothing is mass produced and will cost orders of magnitude more than something that is. Sounds like they're working on one that's roughly half-price (targeting $30k USD) so that might appeal more to the masses. I have a feeling most of the people complaining about the price will still find that too expensive though.

I think they should have added a digital RPM gauge, I can see that the analog gauge has trouble keeping up with the engine's revs.

Very cool video Saabkyle04. I hope that you will get a chance to test drive the Polaris Slingshot in the future. It would be cool to do a comparison between the Campagna T-Rex and the Polaris Slingshot. Maybe you will get a chance to review something from Vanderhall Motor Works or even Tanom Motors. Get an old one and modify it to todays motorcycle tech. This is an easy project vehicle. A wrecked modern bike might be cheap. Check out some of the custom ones on youtube. I live near where they make them and I have seen so many tricked out ones for sale. Everybody starts modifying them the minute they get one! 70 000 ... Never!

Because cars in the 30's were not very safe. A and b pillars on cars were almost nonexistent. There were no crumple zones and any pedestrian who got hit back in the 30's would be much more likely to die.
