So many of us 35-40 year olds become complacent because we feel that we have kids, activities and life gets in the way . Maurah Ruiz I completely understand where ya are coming from when it comes to being around strangers. I too, have dealt with the same awkwardness feelings. What I've found that worked for me is reading, "How to Win Friends and Influence People," The book kept being suggested to me by so many that I felt could talk to a wall and still come out on top. It discusses the power of smiling among many other great approaches when dealing with people, whether it is family, friends, or strangers. I've also learned no matter how much we read, it takes implementing the changes we learn and practicing 'em daily for it to become second nature and for us to win! You got this!!
