ISEE YOU it only makes noise when you really step on it you barely hear it at cruising speeds. Many scat pack owners are scared to put exhaust systems or even modify their car

I just removed my resonators and mufflers on my scat pack and i was scared doing so because of drone honestly but its amazing. Very little drone on highway and pretty quiet until you floor it. Albeit a bit louder than stock when cruising. I say this is one of the 1st and best cheapest mods you can do. Im totally im love with the sound. I think the scat packs have one of the best ever sounding modern muscle car sounds to date. My 2 cents.

I installed magnaflows and deleted my resonators on my 2018 dodge rt. It sounded like a beast and a raggedy truck at the same time. Extemely loud cold starting, reduced my gas mileage and made sport mode sound like crap. Car ran worse too. I put my resonators back on two days later. My car still sounds like a beast. You know its a V8 when i start it.

If you’ve been around cars for any length of time, you’ll know this normally doesn’t produce anything of any substance. Without replacing that muffler, you’d normally be adding garbage. Not the case. This motor sings pretty good without it as long as you keep the rear intact. The raspiness in these videos isn’t indicative of how it sounds in real life. There is a little rasp to it, but not in a bad way. It adds to the overall note. If you have the car and are looking for a harsher and louder sound, most muffler shops are gonna charge 100 bucks or less. Worth it if you’re looking for a little louder exhaust than stock and don’t want to drop 2k on a full setup that gives you almost 0 gain to the wheel.

Stock muffler doesnt sound like a muscle car in person, it sounds more like a corvette and corvettes aren’t even muscle cars anymore they’re more of a super car. But when you get a muffler delete on a scat pack they sound like a true muscle car and it’s so amazing 😂

this may be a stupid question, but i know that most of the time videos don't do it sound justice, is it way louder than before? I've installed exhausts and cut them at the middle with turn down tips on my last two chargers, but I'm afraid with my scatcpack this year it may be too loud, so I've been wanting to do electric cut outs. was this mod more than enough to keep you satisfied or would it be a long shot or similar from this to electric cut outs? thanks for the install video and showing the underside of the car, it greatly helped to see clearance fitment being as how all I've found are scatpack challengers with cut outs

smaller pipes are better for low end torque, wider pipes are better for high rpm power. it's best to just keep it the same size pipe as stock

I've checked out a number of these muffler delete vids and all of them have been done pretty much the same. Sounds okay, but the way the pipes are installed is just really bad for exhaust flow. Having the cut edge of the tailpipes stuck up inside the delete pipe leaves a big edge inside the pipe to disrupt the exhaust flow. Really should be taking the tailpipes down and expanding the end of the pipe so the delete pipe fits inside the tailpipe, instead of the other way around, making for a smoother transition, so as to not cause any more turbulence in the flow than necessary. Probably causing the loss of some HP.
