5.7 R/T Charger here. I deleted the mids for $170 and couldn't be happier. I was looking at getting a full cat back from Borla and it was going to be around 1,400 for what I wanted. Decided to just do the delete first and really feel like I made the right choice. Everyone who hears the cold start or hears me get on it kind of giggles excitedly and I save around $1,200. That's a win in my book.

Clifford Scott there is a little at while cruising around 65-70 but if you use the paddles and shut the MDS off it goes away. Just driving around town it sounds great. I also left the resonators on the back because everything I read and heard said the drone is unbearable if you take those off alone with the mids.

I believe you can raise the park rev limiter with tuning. I hate the park rev limit. You can also tune for more crackles and pops by changing the decel fuel cut off.

I prefer a more traditional "old-school" setup which is with straight-through mid-mufflers (Magnaflow, glasspacks, etc.) and NO resonators. Those large chambered and baffled resonators restrict the exhaust flow and have that annoying hollow-metal-can sound that Flowmaster mufflers have. "Drone" wasn't a word we used back in the day. It's all just a part of your exhaust sound. My first car was a '71 Firebird and it had true dual exhaust (no X-pipe or H-pipe), Hooker headers, no cats, no resonators, and CherryBomb glasspacks. It was loud and sounded great.

there is a trick to overcome the rev limiter, drive the car to a slow speed, 15mph is fine push the shifter up to neutral and you should be able to rev now to the normal redline limiter as long as your coasting,

You're not gonna get all that of a difference in sound. It will sound like stock, but just a bit louder. Not worth it though in my opinion. You should probably go with magnaflows along with resonator deletes. Sounds decently better. Not much drone either really.

It's interesting that you recommend leaving the resonators but removing the mufflers. I had a 2012 Mustang GT, and found that doing the opposite worked better for minimizing drone and getting the best tone (resonator delete and GT500 mufflers). Perhaps it's different for every make and model.

I deleted the back reso's and there is hardly any drone. I'd say if stock is 0, the reso delete is about a 2-3 on a 0-10 scale on the freeway about 75 mph. MDS doesn't make it better or worse in my opinion. But I don't like the back reso deletes as much as when I had the mid mufflers replaced with dynomax bullets, and stock resonators. Will be going back to that.

Hey I watched a couple of videos on your channel. I am also Charger fan so somehow I ended up on your channel. For the Air condition problem you have I think I have a suggestion. A friend of mine had the same problem since the car came out from the dealership. It is a 5.7 V8 SUV, AC wasn't powerful enough he also thought there is something wrong with the blower maybe, but actually when he went to the dealership to get it fixed, they changed the battery and AC started to work normal, they said there was some issue with the battery and it wasn't generating enough power. So I recommend you to try this, maybe your problem is also related to the battery and who knows Auto-start might also start working! I hope you get all your car's issues fixed soon! Good luck!

Nearly sure that you mixed up 'resonators' and 'mufflers'. The exhaust tips exit from the mufflers, the resonators are typically behind the catalytic converters.

You'll get louder pops if you have leaks somewhere in the exhaust i.e., if you went with vbands and they aren't perfectly fitted.

I promise you if you removed the name off of the muffler, or don't tell anyone the name of the brand, the super 10's from "blow masters" especially when mated to a V8 performance car has one of the best, most aggressive, burbling, loud dba's of any muffler you can buy..I can understand if you're talking about the other series of mufflers flowmaster makes, but they hit the mark with the Super 10's. Borla Atak's, & Super 10's are the only mufflers I want on an American V8 performance car.
