I was too. It's not as refined as all the Autopilot KZbin videoes make it look. My drive home from work, I'm helping it through a number of curves. Even though it could have made them unassisted. .6 rides a lot smoother than .7. .7 will rock you to sleep on the highway.

David Peterson that’s a drag. I know the Bolt’s LKA motor does have some pretty limited torque, but it’d be nice to see better performance out of it. Oh well. Better then nothing!! Keep the videos coming!

Super Interested in this! Was there any significant changes in the driver safety systems from 2017 model year to the 2020 model year that would help the open pilot software operate the car smoother?

OP is stand alone. The BOLT has the OBDII port encrypted. So the CAN bus data has to be pulled from the front facing camera.

No. It needs LKAS.

It works on the 2017 base model and others, thanks to jshuler's pedal and OPGM branch
