picked one up 9k and it was taken cared of with at least 15 percent tint that came with it and rain guards for the windows.

My brother just got one of these. As an import guy myself, I'm not a fan of the Chevy, or really any domestics. But this car actually has a surprisingly nice look to it, and a bit more sleek looking than most other cars in it's class. It would look decent with a set of 18" wheels. I'm not a fan of all the chrome trim inside and out though.

the chrome trim inside is an absolute nightmare unless you like being constantly blinded by bright reflecting light. this car sucks! I unfortunately own a 2018.

I kinda wanna get the 2017 Chevy Cruze when I am 17 or 18 (2025 or 2026) but then I feel like the car would be considered old but then I looked at the 2019 version but it looks to high tech and it’s not my vibe..

Nice presentation and nice car. As a previous owner of two Cavaliers and one Cobalt, would like to buy this new Cruze. But, the deal killer for me is the non-defeatable stop-start technology built in to this car, and even its bigger sister, the Malibu. My morning commute involves a lot of stop-and-go driving and, in one stretch of my commute, would end up with the engine stopping and restarting as many as 30+ times. I'm not willing to take the chance that the stop-start system is that durable and don't want to pay big bucks to fix it when it eventually breaks outside of warranty. What the check was GM thinking making the system non-defeatable? Other manufacturers have incorporated this stop-start technology, but have given the consumer the choice whether to use it, or not. Dumb move, GM. Unfortunately, I'll have to pass on the Cruze and the Malibu.

lvdoublej Oh no worries on that. I have one and all you have to do to shut that off is just put the car in manual mode, put it in 6th and your good to go, it matters not on this car. I leave it like that all the time and honestly there is zero difference in the way it shifts or drives even at a stop light. Another thing is that when you have the heater on or it's below 40 degrees out, the start stop does not engage. This car is really good for what it is and it's def better than the first model hands down. This start stop has a bad reputation and is easy to solve by what I have mentioned. You don't have to go through thumbing of gears either, just put the shifter in man, press the button to go to 6 and your good to go, have e been doing this for 4 months and have had zero issues. Nice car.

Manual mode and put it in 6th? Are you not talking the difference between buying the car with stick shift vs an automatic? If a person buys an automatic I don't think there is any "override" to the stop-and-go system. Or at least that is what all reviews on this car have said. NO OVERRIDE function for the stop & go available on this car. This is also making me think twice about getting this car.

I own one and its unnoticeable
@daveb403616 жыл бұрын
@ TheDudeOutfHisElemen: Then all the reviews are wrong. The Cruze can indeed bypass the auto-stop/start system by pulling the shifter on an automatic into the "L" position and clicking the "+" button on top of the shifter until the transmission gear readout on the dash reads "L6". The transmission shifts normally through all 6 forward gears but auto-stop/start is disabled. The only drawback is that you have to do this every time you drive the car, but it only takes a few seconds.

Yeah the fuel hatch is a joke on this car sadly. It even gets open when you put it into a car wash sometimes if the brushes click it open.

This vehicle isn't as good as it should be as they need to do something about the front end if you go over speeds bumps or steep driveway you scrape the plastic bottom piece & GM wont replace this as I tore it badly from a bump. Other thing is not all have the pocket behind the drivers seat which can be annoying but there is one behind the passenger seat. The audio does not sound to great bass to much & not enough highs. The SiriusXM can sound scratchy on highs also but also & missing the CD player. There is no aftermarket stereo to fit this vehicle yet. I have the keyless start & heated seats also which is good to have. I not like this auto stop feature which there is delay when vehicle starts up in traffic & this annoying clump when u slow down also. GM made to many of these vehicles as I wanted to get rid of it & value dropped by almost $5,000 according to Kelly Blue Book, NADA & Black Book which was a disappointment. As GM wont take it back which is a lease I going to have to pray insurance pays it off as I going to flip it in the next month. I not recommend this vehicle at all stick to Honda Accord, Civic or Toyota Camry, Corolla ...
