Love my White Pearl CVO Breakout but, if the red had been available that would be my choice! The CVO Pro Street is one HELL of a Harley, especially with a 117 installed unbelievable, performance, not only for a Harley but any bike!
@perryjames22608 жыл бұрын
You upgraded to a 117? was it expensive and what pipes did you go with? Im thinking of buying either the white or the red/black. Your thoughts?
@ipfreely4567 жыл бұрын
Man, my dream bike. I have a 99 Wide Glide and when ever I see a Breakout I just drool all over it. It doesn't matter if it's the cvo or just the standard one. They are such a good looking bike in my opinion.

Thanks for the video and the reviews, my question is whats the deference in the FXSB Softail breakout 2017 and 2016 models ( not the CVO ) ?
@thundergod61738 жыл бұрын
the paint layout is almost a copy of my 88 fxrs custom paint job i have it used to be black on top with two orang stripes and pearl white on bottom. now well since 96 its blue marble up top a purple and a majenta stripes with the pearl on bottom i love this paint design not just cause its mine but it looks cool

I been a passenger for several years and on several long rides to rally's Zeallistic and thinkin even with a backrest it won't be comfy enough for the long rides by the look of the passenger seat.Thank you
@MattLaidlaw8 жыл бұрын
Tammy Nichols yea, long rides the bike with a back rest will still be uncomfortable. It's not really a "long ride" passenger bike.

Can you review a test ride of any CVO or standard Breakout? I'm thinking these Breakouts are set to replace the Vrod; what do you think?

Tammy Nichols it isn't comfortable for a passenger at all. You'll be good for about 30 minutes.

Why the hate. I like all motorcycles. If you are strictly measuring speed you are watching the wrong videos. Honda. Yamaha. Ducati. Harley. Etc..... all good brands buy what you like.

I like your reviews. Thank you. What do you think about ducati xdiavel s vs cvo pro street breakout.
@MattLaidlaw8 жыл бұрын
Both really cool bikes. I haven't ridden that Ducati so it's hard for me to give you an honest opinion. The Harley is gonna give you more of the heavy cruiser feel. The Ducati is gonna be a sport bike with one foot in the cruiser world.
@Swoop1806 жыл бұрын
I almost went for the Xdiavel, but my best friend bought a 2009 HD Springer for $6,500.00! Very clean with one minor rock ping on the gas tank. I ended up on a 2014 Breakout that is near mint condition with all maintenance records, was asked to keep the price to myself. Needless to say i fared well! Very happy with my choice!

I rode the red one at the Long Beach IMS, plenty of power, i've ridden streetbikes my whole life and this thing is quick. Handling not so much, even the most modest lean will have you scraping peg. One more thing, the rear cylinder will burn your inner thigh.

Julio Smith two different styles, this one is like the hot rod and backs it up by being quicker. The Dark Horse is a more laid back bike, good in its own right.

$25K is a very steep price w/o a doubt. Just yesterday I got to see this black/gold bike in person at a Pee Wee football game. I must say the tires/rims look great combined with the higher performance 110 engine this bike looks bad-to-the-bone. Very low "slammed-like" appearance. This bike customized has some serious potential looks-wise. Such as blinker LED lighting on the end of the grips as well as a shorter stub-like rear fender. Some real headers wouldn't hurt the cause either. Good summation as usual but HD is behind the times here. Why not immediately put the new Milwaukee engine (s) in this bike? Makes no sense. You always offer your best right up front . Forget the marketing pencil pushers wanting to keep the revenue stream going until the current product line gets old and out dated but to me the future is now.
@draganm78238 жыл бұрын
Good point, but the 110 has been around for quite some time and is proven, the new 8 may have issues, so they may be playing it safe. But you are right...$$ are a first priority unfortunately.

What is with Harley and the color black? Harley needs to fire their designers and get people with actual taste. We are almost in 2017 and their primary color is black, not everyone wants a black motorcycle. I have a 2008 Harley Rocker C, same style bike but way better designers then when it comes to color. I hate going into Harley and seeing black, black and more black bikes. Love my 2015 Indian and guess what, its not black. Also have a 1973 Harley FLH and its not black either, Harley designers over the last decade suck!
@MattLaidlaw8 жыл бұрын
Snake Bite Harley Davidson has a lot of colors other than black. I'm not sure why you think otherwise. A lot of people prefer black so Harley makes it available. Harley isn't going to discontinue black when it's very popular. If you don't like black just don't buy it. Very simple. There are tons of other colors available.
@snakebite65118 жыл бұрын
Yes, but they charge extra for a "colour"
@frankielemonjello8 жыл бұрын
Most companies do. Black is inexpensive, with little lossage due to color variances or other issues in application. Also, if one were to buy a bike with the intention of a full custom paint job, black would be preferable to a color.

It's assembled here anyway. Parts come from all over as they do with everything nowadays. In '97 I owned a Honda Goldwing. It was assembled just up the road from me. Got to tour the plant once. Good time. They assembled all their cruisers there too at the time. They've since moved bike assembly back to Japan. Still make Accords up there though.
