I have a 2016 Breakout with VH 2-2 pipes with no baffles and it does sound mean!! I agree with the lean angle, my last 2 bikes were a zx-6r and a zx-9r so it took me some time to understand that i can go ripping into turns like i used to..lol

Nice review of the Breakouts. I have a 2016 CVO Breakout white pearl and I love it! Before it even left the dealer I had a 117 put in it and a Bassani two into one exhaust. Had it dyno tuned, getting 130 ft pd of torque and 113 hp talk about a sweet ride! Bout time to buy some new pegs since I have just about worn these out going around corners but the Pro Street does not drag them like my 2013 Breakout used to, smart enough not to drag the cases, LOL. If you can afford it and you want a nice riding, eye catching Harley that performs this is the bike for you!
@BlockheadMoto7 жыл бұрын
Great numbers, sounds like a beast! Yeah no dragging the cases, haha

Just started riding on Father's Day this year. Have a '17 Iron 883. During my Harley safety course when we were getting a dealership tour, they took a pic of our dream bike and the Breakout is what I ended up sitting on. The new model open house is coming up for me next month. Going to give it and maybe the low rider a whirl.

Hey Blockhead. I'm a fan of yours. Just wanted to say that I test rode a Low Rider for the first time a few days ago at my local Harley dealer and it was amazing. I'm hoping to get it for my first bike.

I hate that they mounted the gauge to the bars in 17. Also the fill port with on the side without the gauge on the other bothers me a bit. I wish they either would've centered it or color matched it to the bike.

Hey blockhead I know this is an older video of yours but I’ve on the fence about a 2017 breakout cvo or the new 22/23 low rider s with the 117! I’m torn as I love the look of both but I’m leaving toward low rider mainly for the bigger motor. What’s your thoughts!? 21:20

I sat on the standard breakout but didn't even test ride it due to I didn't like how it sat, I ended up with the 2017 dyna wide glide I like being stretched out on the wide glide the way the forward controls feel a bit more forward

That's the importance of a test ride, seeing what you're comfortable with. Grats on the Wide Glide!

Bryan Frederick all you have to do is flip it to run and enter code, harley told me about the on off thing but you literally just flip to run and enter, its in case you lose fob or battery dies

LE PUEDO CAMBIAR EL TANQUE DE GASOLINA A MI BREAKOUT POR UNO MAS GRANDE?
@evil_musclemuscled38147 жыл бұрын
Cvo handlebar risers , too high, rear seat ,too thick . Rims nahhhh , I like everything else , looks too over dressed . Other breakout , needs that older dual tank , with the Speedo, between the tanks . I'd go for the regular breakout . What ever the price is for the cvo, that money, could be used , to add the riders own touch
@WolfinWolvesClothing7137 жыл бұрын
What was it like riding a log just a little faster than it would float down a river? There is absolutely no comparison between these two and the low rider s. It will run circles around both of them. (While giggling like a little kid )😂 They're slow and they handle like crap. But they do look good. That's the only thing they do good.
