Glad to see you did the sensible thing and wired the horn via a isolation switch that operates via your steering wheel horn. I see so many people install a totally separate press-button switch (under the steering column or somewhere else that's difficult to reach). In an emergency....when you need to sound the horn instantaneously, you don't want to be fumbling around for even an extra second while you find the little button. Good work. I'm about to install my 730 Demons, which will replace a Hornblaster kit. I'm in Australia by the way.

Thanks. Awesome. If you have any questions on the install let me know.

That sounds badass. I have an 18 450 Limited and the factory horn is a joke

What type of engine does this truck have

My neighbor had an airhorn like that - he came out one morning and all his tires were flat and his windows were all broken - I guess the concussion from the airhorn or the reverberation off all those homes around him in the neighborhood were just too much for his truck. Gosh, that cost him around $6,600 if I remember. I don't know why, but I never heard that horn again.

Did you remove spare tire to fit the horns and tank? Looking to do this to my truck and I have the same truck as you.
@thecrosswoodworking4 жыл бұрын
Yes. The spare tire has to be removed to mount tank and compressor.
@67L484 жыл бұрын
@@thecrosswoodworking It has to be removed during the installation, but the spare fits back into place when all done, correct? I think the question is whether or not the spare tire is permanently removed, as some people do, in fact, ditch their spares to fit tanks/horns. I thought the Kleinn kit preserved the spare tire.

Can you have a 2 way valve on the compressor to pump up tyres
@caterpillarslim12882 жыл бұрын
Run a T between the tank and the valve and off that T run a line to a quick connect air hose coupler

It’s a great horn but you need a voltage regulator in your light circuit

Lol no. Most LEDs flicker in order to save energy, allow dimming for certain functions and extend the life of the diode. The flash/pulse rate can sometimes coincide with the cameras refresh rate and sometimes the camera "misses" the pulse making the brain perceive flash/flicker.

lol that’s not a train horn. Sounds like a boat horn with a seagull stuck in it. Such a nice truck, too bad you ruin that with a wimpy horn

Here in Australia we'd call you a DICKHEAD 510trackside. Yes, he could have spent about 6x as much and installed a Nathan K5LA (or similar), but would it really be practical? That was the decision I had to make....and I opted for the Kleinn 730 Demon. Practical and loud enough to wake-up even the most dedicated pedestrian with his face in his phone.
