You need a scan tool that can recalibrate the ABS system after replacing rear pads or its going to thru traction and ABS codee

Didn’t need to. Customer is satisfied and car doesn’t have any abs or brake issues to this day.

Great video! Getting ready to do this same project on my 2017 Acadia. Did the piston go back easily or was it difficult? I keep seeing videos on releasing the piston using an allen wrench with the electronic emergency brake housing removed from the caliper. I didn't see where you had that removed so I am assuming it isn't necessary.... correct?

Its not necessary to disassemble the caliper. Just takes a lot of strength, I cropped out that part because it took a little bit of time. As long as you have the same tool kit I have you’ll be fine I ended up getting some locking pliers to get a better grip on the handle to twist. Good luck

Here is a link to the video I was referring to. It seems that there is something going on with the caliper and the E-Brake has something to do with it that can help release the piston so it isn't so difficult to compress it back in. I even saw another video where they guy literally screwed the piston back in by turning it...??? Anyways, would love your thoughts on this before I tackle this project.
