2017 Grand Cherokee SRT (Borla Atak Catback Samples)

Traded in the 2015 Chevrolet SS for the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.
This video contains a walk-around of the vehicle and engine bay, start-up and rev, wide open throttle take-off, and wide open throttle take-off using launch control.
Everything is stock besides the addition of the Borla Catback exhaust.

I keep watching videos of the S Type and the ATAK exhausts for the SRT. Started out thinking I should go with the S Type because of its conservative sound levels that are slightly better than stock. Of late, I keep watching/listening to more and more of the ATAK videos and this system seems to be drawing me in more. Hoping it's not too obnoxious, doesn't have any cabin drone at cruising speeds, and doesn't set off the Check Engine light. Great video, by the way. This could be the one that helped me make my final decision!

Hey man, in this video everything is bone stock except the exhaust! Standard 20's with the standard pirelli tires.

Do you get any rattle when idling? Some videos it sounds like it does some don't

No rattling. Some videos just record the pressure coming out differently so it appears to have a rattle on camera sometimes.

Straight pipe is a bit louder, but I wouldn’t recommend it on these due to slight power loss and the sound bit being as clean.

Steven Campos my best was 4.3. On a perfect day, the absolute best people have gotten stock, is 4.1.

Cool thanks for the quick response that’s good to hear that the 2017/2018 Jeep SRT will do 0-60 in 4.1 to 4.3 on a great weather day at low altitudes I have a tuff decision to make I can’t decide if I want to order a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT or a 2019 Camaro Zl1 next year!

Steven Campos was actually in that same decision! Im a big Chevy fan and love the ZL1, but recently just moved to Germany for 3 years so wanted the AWD and a decent car for the family. I’ll admit, it’s a very impressive vehicle. Definitely don’t regret it. I’d say you’re doing a great purchase either way!

Torque management, retards timing when the transmission upshifts. With a tune and reduce torque management, that sound goes away.
