It wouldn't be smart simply because Carmax would 100% sell it back to you for WAY more than they paid you for it.. Also the warranty is 5 year 125,000 or 150,000 miles I think. You'd get cheated out of your money hard core. Trust me I 100% guarantee Carmax has blocked almost all the loop holes.. that's why they low ball almost always on their appraisals.. You'd have lots of miles by the time your warranty expires or you'd never drive the car then you'd most likley never use the warranty which is waisting money on something you're not using.. THINK ABOUT IT.

That is my exact car. 2018 black Jeep track hawk. It was just stolen from the front of my house in my driveway two days ago. The review is very good overall, but there was one part that was misleading. Not on purpose, but when he talks about the household outlet in the rear and how you can plug in a microwave or toaster, thats not entirely true. The maximum wattage of the outlet isnt nearly high enough to power appliances like those. It says 150 watts on the outlet, a toaster will require upwards of 700 for most models. Most microwaves are 800-1300 watts. Not knocking the review, just dont want people to be misled.

Doug couldn't have known what was coming in the vehicle marketplace. I searched for a Trackhawk within 100 miles. The cheapest one I found was a black 2018. Original sticker was $96,000, they were asking $78,000 with 45,000 miles. I think we are going to have to wait a while before any type of normal depreciation kicks in.

Bought my Trackhawk $101k May 2018 and loved every minute driving it! Instant power, no comparison! Warranty expired and it gets expensive to maintain, and I had so many warranty issues with it (suspension went out so couldn't put in Sport, 3 fuel injectors went out, radio/display went out had to replace, etc). Now I have a 2024 Porsche Macan GTS ordered & delivered in April. Launch is nice but not like the Trackhawk. But when moving, there is turbo lag where the Trackhawk would instantly pen you to the seat even at 80mpg, scratch all 4 tires when it shifts at 120mpg in sport mode; incredible! The biggest difference, the Trackhawk is AWESOME in a straight line! but drives like a truck...the Macan is nearly as fast on launch, quick enough on the punch, but the handling is INCREDIBLE! the combination of the power and sports car handling makes me not regret getting rid of my Trackhawk; HOWEVER, I'm sooooo glad I bought the Trackhawk back in the day; no regrets!!

Tommy Hallum as a european i have to disagree with you. Firstly american cars are surprisingly rare over here, and secondly people care way too much about fuel economy. To demonstrate my point most european manufacturers such as porsche, audi, merc, lamborghini and even mclaren use only 4.0 liter V8’s, so a 6.2 liter would be a no go to most people. Also i think most europeans would rather pay a little extra for the likes of a merc gle63, audi sq7 or cayenne turbo, which would likely be perceived as more luxurious and higher quality. Therefore i think its pretty restricted to american markets
