it's a mystery how horseback in the '60s and '70s and from 1980 to 1987 they were no fault start and somehow jockeys did care and horses stood still from in the1988 to this day The Grand National when the number of horses did do fault start

There are more false starts because its a faster race now.. it is a race right from the start.
