I got that exact bike, I've had it for about a month and a half. I broke it in per the manufacturers recommendations. I got about 1,300 miles on it now ( I haven't gotten off the damn thing) and I tell you this. it is a pure adrenaline rocket. after 1,000 miles you can give her all she gots, and she has some ass. it pulls hard from take off to redline. everytime I wind it out and shift into the next gear it pulls that front wheel off the ground IMMEDIATLEY. I've ridden almost every and any sport bike that is out there in veriouse years ( even busa's with work done ) and I can tell you hands down that this bike is the one that does it for me. SUPER FAST, INCREDIBLE HANDLING, just an all out bad ass bike. And to all the guys that have to have a 1,000. I hear ya because I thought the same thing. I would never settle for anything less then a liter bike. well my eyes are open and I have seen the light. lol. I blow the doors off of 1,000's on a regular basis with this bone stock 2017 gixxer 750. they can't touch me till over 150 mph and that's when that 1,000 starts coming. I'm not gonna tell you any bull shit, and yes after 150 the 1,000 is coming but it doesn't pass me until just about 175 180 when I am pretty much maxed out. but remember this. my 750 is stock betting 1,000's like it is no tomorrow and where the FUCK are you gonna do 200 + mph all the time. I love it, I love it, and u will Fucken love it too. I love it so much my wife hates it Lmao. best bad ass all around bike out there right now. That's my opinion and I am sticking with it.

I believe you if you're talking pre 2015 1000s...however, starting around 2015 all the big four Japanese 1000s got a decent bump in power and torque. As an owner of a 17 zx10r, I have gapped modded 17+ GSXR750s going from 0-100mph. Still crazy to see how fast they are when compared to a 600. I actually looked at the 17+ GSXR750s. Still would get one simply for the fact that it weighs LESS than some 600 class bikes (ZX6R is 10 lbs heavier) but has nearly the power of the 1000.

10:28 If the key lock is the biggest flaw, then I'd say Suzuki did a hell of a job with this bike 👍 During the first week, I also turned the key too far and left the lights on. Fortunately a friend noticed and told me, or else I might have returned to a dead battery. But once you get used to the key positions, it becomes a non-issue.

Even my 1988 Gixxer does the same thing with leaving park lights on if you turn the key all the way. I have killed two batteries in 26yrs of ownership from running them dead with the lights on. I soon got in the the habit of turning the key all the way then back one click and even then checking the tail lights when I get off as well

BTW. great video my man. please do another one with any aftermarket parts you install on it. I'm dying to see what upgrades leolleare doing andtbere opinion. Also after reading a few comments from some of the people about there gixxer 750's. for 2017 Suzuki redid a lot of things on the bike. they bumped the horsepower and torque up by 10% (11-16 130hp. 17 150hp) and compressed the motor "amongst other things" to make the bike lighter any way they could. It may look almost the same as 11-16 750's, but is is not. there are some cosmetic and small things that are interchangeable, but per Suzuki, this bike has had a lot of changes mechanically.

I've probably watched this video 10 times. Looking at picking up this exact bike. Wheelies are fun on a dirt bike but I'm concerned about the front end coming up just using the throttle and not trying to lift it. Does that make sense? If I'm only using the throttle(gunning it) would I have to worry about the front end lifting or is there enough weight up front that this won't be a concern? Thanks so much in advance man. Love the review, Andrew
@CharlieOliverBates
@CharlieOliverBates 6 жыл бұрын
Andrew Boyd It’s definitely a reasonable concern considering how much power this bike puts down. Riding in first and second gear are the only times I ever really get the front wheel up by accident. That’s when I’m really “gunning the throttle” though. When it happens it’s easy to correct and the stock steering dampener is excellent at preventing tank slippers. Overall, I’d say that this is a well balanced bike. You sound like a decent rider if you can successfully pull off wheelies on a dirt bike. I wouldn’t worry about accidental wheelies if I were you. Thanks for your feedback and question, Andrew. Let me know what bike you end up deciding to buy.

went into the shop today to look at the 2017 R6 I personally like it. but being short it does have its disadvantages... then I saw this 2017 gsxr 750/ white... OMG looks and feels nice just sitting on it. im tip toeing it but with its narrower seat feels much better for me. i've been on my r3 for 3 years now. I can use a upgrade haha. it is pricey like you mention. they do have a 2014 gsxr 750/ red and black. but man choices choices.

ClutchDumper I’m on the same boat as you. I have a 2017 R3 also. How tall are you? I’m 5’6 and on the balls of my feet and I went to the dealership today and sat on a couple of GSXR’s. The first one I hopped on I completely flat footed and was shocked. Found out it was lowered but I’m not sure if the suspension was reduced from the stock option or third party, which was bad because I don’t think the previous owner matched the front lowering. I then sat on a stock one and it’s almost identical in height as the R3 (maybe even slightly lower and more comfy). I also swear over my bias to own the bike it’s lighter than the R3 (not numerically but again, probably in my head). If this bike can have the height adjusted it will be the most comfy bike I’ve been on and glad I’m now tall enough to go to 600+. I researched and out of the super sports this is the lowest, R6 being the highest. Oh and when I say “y’all enough” that’s in my own comfort zone. I know many ride even at 5’ tall.

Props on the video! Good vid, good information. But do you not know how to turn around? You don't just use that handle bars. You lean like with any other turn, turn your head to where you're going and give it some gas. I remember years ago during the MSF course we had to do it in a small ass box. Much much smaller than that road your on. It's helpful if you need to turn around and it isn't an empty road. You have to be joking about the price right? Did you check the price of say an R6? The 1000 isn't much more than the 750 for various reasons. This bike is in a great price range but would be more if they put all the bells and whistles on it. I can tell this has to be your first time on a sport bike. You conned the turning but it isn't the bikes fault. It's yours. Not trying to sound like an ass though it does sound like it. I just don't see that you can count something against the bike that is purely operator related. Not to mention it was a pretty noob move to ask people what they think about your bike lol. The parking feature was definitely something to be mindful of. Props for that portion cause people will get in a hurry (assuming the battery will drain) and leave it. All in all though, good vid and review.

Dam bro where u get that Rare af Gsxr 650? Didnt they only make 1 in the whole world? 😂 I have a Ninja 650 as well so I'd probably tounge fuck myself as well haha. Looking to buy a 750 this week or next week, as soon as Texas Hurricane season comes near an end and all this rain & tropical storms pass. I'd never buy a bike without checking the 10 day forecast cuz I'm riding that btch for a week straight minimum 👌

The bike actually belongs to a friend of mine. I have ridden it a few times since making this video and I really enjoy twisting the throttle. I do think that it's a bit over-priced and impractical if you're only going to be using it as a commuter. If you're going to be taking it to the track and racing then it's a winner.
