A after watching this video and changing my battery I was ashamed of myself for buying this battery 2 weeks ago and being hesitant about changing it myself. If you take your time it'll take you about 45 minutes max. Ive never changed a motorcycle battery and it took me about 35 minutes cuz I was refering to video thru every step.

Changed the battery twice on my FXDWG ( HAD IT 18 YEARS) 1st time I did it , took me a while to realise I had to undo a bolt to let the battery drop down for removal .

Man that’s annoying that they make something that should be one of the easiest things to get to so hard. Do you trickle charger your battery? When I had my Harley I kept it plugged up when It was parked.

I have a 2018 Fatboy also. Im curious why you say you'd never do it again? It wasn't easy but it wasn't as hard as I expected either. The battery was $159 so the savings on labor cost was worth it to me.
