@@JDMSwervo2001They really didn’t want people to mess with 1st gear in the 6AT. The only time you can really even fully use it, is if you launch it 100% from a dead stop or if you stay rolling under 3-4 mph. It loves to short shift into 2nd gear, even if you’re going up a pretty decent incline. You could probably be in 2nd or 3rd gear and floor it, and that would also downshift to 1st gear aggressively. I believe the rev limiter per gear isn’t adjustable, even with the adjustable settings through KTuner. I’m not sure if Hondata or other flash tuning programs are any different, but all the rev limiter settings do, is increase the limiter for the AT model for the engine only in park or neutral. @EsmartElectronics2 ай бұрын
I have a 2013 Accord V6 EXL with 114k miles. The biggest thing with these cars is how you drive it. If you floor it like in this video every day it will break so fast. People don't buy Honda Accords to go fast. The power is there but the rest of the car isn't designed to be floored very often. If you want something to floor all the time get a proper race car. Also, the j35 engine has issues with oil dilution. Get your oil changed more frequently than what Honda states, otherwise you will be running on paint thinner in your engine as fuel leaks into the oil. If you baby the car this can easily make it to 300k+ miles. Be extra cautious with how you drive and stay on top of maintenance, this car will last you a very long time.

Love those Canadian only LED tail lights the accords in Canada had some different options then we have here in USA! I believe in Canada the 13th through 15 models can get 18 in rims stock on touring trim. Canadians have a choice of either four cylinder or a V6 touring trim. For USA in order to get those Elegant LED tail lights you had to buy the hybrid and that was the only way you can get them otherwise you had incandescent bulbs inside.
