What is the maximum torque for safe of the cvt? Not planning to track it. Just making it as fast as possible while not braking the transmission.

No one really knows. I'm at 267wtq right now. Was at 257wtq for over a year and about 6 months ago I went to retune and added a little bit more.

@@issafk7 I’ve been looking everywhere and no one actually can recommend an actual number to not blow the transmission. Some say 220, others go up to 275.

@@SpartanKyuubi It's because no one has done enough extensive testing on the CVT transmission to find out its limits. People can only guess as to what it is. Not to mention just because a figure is hit doesn't mean anything about its longevity or its reliability. I can only speak of my build but its been going on 1.5+yrs at these higher lvls and has held up so far with over 55k miles.

On the fence. I might pick one up next spring. With fall/winter coming, I don't really see the need as I won't be pushing the car that hard.
