The best way to listen to music that I have found so far is to put a few albums or playlists each in separate folders on a USB thumb drive and put that down below the cup holders. Then put the center gauge in music mode and when you want to switch albums/playlists you can press the "enter" button on the steering wheel and then press up and down to select a folder. It reads the name of the folder to you as well as displays the folder tree on the center gauge. I was missing the MP3 CD player in my old car until I found this feature

this is the best walk around video for your Type R so far. Showed all angles and as I already knew in my opinion this is a damn good looking car. Gato, I believe you said ur running a +45 offset, would a +35 be too aggressive even though it's not lowered? And do you plan on lowering it? I know I wouldn't stock suspension looks amazing. Need one by spring. When are the 2018's coming? Keep up the good quality work you are gonna go far, been here since 1k subscribers.

Thanks Beek! I think +35mm would work perfectly as well, probably looking into a set of wheels like that next. As far as lowering goes, I'm honestly on the fence. Eibach released a 1 inch lowering kit, looks pretty good, but I don't want to mess with Honda's suspension tuning, as it's VERY good as it is right now. Thanks for supporting me since 1K, hopefully you'll see when I get to 10k, and then 100K :)

centre caps for the rims will keep those axles nuts looking pretty. Shoot them with some lithium grease to keep them from rusting. Rust just plain sucks. Thanks for the post.

Hey Elias! Just chiming in. So far I haven't experienced any transmission grind and I have 1366 miles and have done 1 track day. I use hawk DTC 70 pads in the front and DTC 60 in the rear of my track WRX. I plan on using the same pads for the CTR for track purpose and new set stock pads for the streets. I've ordered a set of Eibach springs to get more camber and lower the center of gravity to help with more cornering speeds on track. Mishimoto is taking orders for the oil catch can! Pick one up! Keep up the great content!

Your car looks nice. I wasn't a big fan of mud flaps, but I put them on my wrx to protect the thin paint. They have grown on me now and I think they look pretty good.

Anyways, as far as the alignment on the steering wheel I have a friend who finally got that issue fixed at Honda after like 4 different visits. I really haven't noticed that on my EX-T as of yet. I think the infotainment is great cant believe you hate it. Lol.

D Lombana they did an alignment multiple times until the last time he took it they finally fixed it. But it required him to drive the car with the tech inside to see what the issue was.

with all due Respect Elias I don't see nothing wrong with infotainment, specially in compare to the sport hatch, but then again maybe is just me and the people that get in my car, also I don't think I would ever go 18", the smallest I would go would be 19" BTW thanks for the great content, it is always appreciate

Yea some people love the infotainment, I'm probably in the minority when it comes to not liking it, I guess I like it simple. Luckily, the way to fix it is by using Android auto, that works very well. Thanks for the kind words!

I think the flaps look alright. But at the same time it loses a bit of that sleek look. If you're going for the rally look like Gato mentioned then it suits the car. Btw, I was just wondering as I was watching the video, any idea how much the flaps are affecting the air flow around the lower part of the car? Since the CTR focuses so much on air flow and downforce, it would be interesting to see, especially since it blocks the sideskirts and also the rear bumper. Not to mention slight drag as well. I know it probably won't be a lot or not noticeable in a non-timed event, but might be something to consider for others who want to try it out.

very good point on the aero bud, I think they probably do affect the high speed stability since this car has a lot of good functioning aero. I think for track days I may remove them, not sure yet, as I also do want to protect the car.

Gato, get the Afe uncatted race downpipe for the R. At least an extra 30hp and torque. might give it a deeper tone with the stock exhaust as the gasses flow a little better.

FlyinGato I think kits like this are fine for the SI but everything else like the hatchback would devalue the look and style of the type r accents and design elements of the aero kit

I agree, I mean I like carbon fiber, but for the minimal weight loss vs the cost, I don't think it's worth it (yet). Once Carbon fiber becomes as cheap as plastic, then sign me up for carbon fiber everything!
