Another year has come to an end. That was... fast. I didn't watch a lot of dramas as compared to last year.
This list includes:
- Dramas that I've watched from the FIRST to the LAST episode. No dropping, no skipping.
- Dramas that started in 2017, and ended in 2017, also
- dramas that started in 2016, but ended in 2017.
Didn't watch a lot of dramas this year simply because there aren't many that caught my interest. Went through a kdrama drought this year. Thankfully there are gems like LUTYN, GBC and Tunn.l to make up for it. ^^ I was also introduced to a number of talented actors and actresses that I didn't know of.
UPDATE*: OAKDNEKSJWLW CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT AVENGERS SOC!AL CLUB!! No wonder something felt missing. It's one of my fav dramas for 2017 as well! Lee Yowon was such a cutie. The whole squad was exciting to watch.
A (very short) summary of random dramas;
*my own personal opinion. *warning long post ahead lol
Tomorrow w/ you: Oh, oh so disappointing. A drama that I really anticipated when they released the plot and casting news, but it didn't live up to my high expectations. Thankful for Shin Mina and Jehoon though. Haha
LUTYN: Definitely one of the best time-travel (medical) dramas! I've always wanted a plot where the character is able to travel through time back and forth, and they made it happen! Started it without any expecations and wow. The two leads are so soft towards each other. Not problematic at all. I didn't expect the ending though. Good job team!
GBC: Tears, and more tears. Awh, the worst whenever Jinjoo and her mom's scenes were on screen. I enjoyed the colours and camerawork as well. The OSTs? The best for 2017!
MysteryQ: An ejoyable drama. It gives off a certain vibe that made me enjoy it. In love with the main OST! The leads were so cute. and hello to Season 2! Seems like Seol-ok is now a divorcee as the plot for this season is "Seol-ok has thrown away her life as a housewife" Well, good. Her husband was of no use to her anyway. But one of the interesting factor in s1 was, she always had to secretly leave her house and come up with excuses to her MIL. We'll see how s2 goes!
Reunited W: So thankful for my small bean, Park Jin Joo. It must have been fun working together with Lee Sieon and Kwak Dongyeon again.
Tunn.l: The common overused real-life-murder-case plot, but with a twist of time travel. The drama that made me notice Hyunmin. It turns out that I've actually watched him in many other dramas, but I only got to notice his face and name through this drama. ....and most importantly, a big shoutout to our Mr. Bread, Hyunmin, for introducing me to I Live Alone. My life is now filled with rainbows with that variety show lol
Laurel TT: My first ever 50+ eps drama! I started watching when they already aired 20++ episodes. I don't know when will my next 50-ep drama be. Haha
Defend.nt: Jisung definitely desrved the daesang. Congrats! but.. hello s/b/s? Uhm Kijoon should at least be awarded a Top Excellence, not some best character award that was made up last minute.
