This song ALWAYS gets me. Sometimes is better to keep the doors to your reality/lifestyle/soul closed for some people. Opening your door means you are exposing yourself. I'm glad someone has finally expressed their understanding of the song and that it actually fits mine. T is very retrospective in choosing /writing his lyrics and that's one of his major qualities for me. His dancing / voice is of lesser importance to me, maybe because I'm tired of MV being sexually explicit and his stage performances, as excellent as they may be, are on the verge of inappropriate.

Honestly speaking, its not easy to survive as solo dance artist in kpop world. Taemin & Sunmi proved otherwise. A lot of idol can survive for being apart of group, but solo is a whole different story. Because you'll need a good balance between singing alone and dancing. Great job Taemin! So DOOR is actually one of his majestic and spectacular performances that he did in his first solo concert in Budokan, Japan. So, for non Shawol I hope you prepared yourself to watch his DOOR performances. Actually When I heard that he's going to perform DOOR I was questioning myself how on Earth that he gonna performed this stage because MAMA is publicly broadcast and maybe, perfectly topless is not allowed (in my opinion). If you search for the song, they will be a tonnes of his live performance like this! I can't find the correct words to express how Taemin's presence simply is ethereal. Even if you may not like his music/style, you CANNOT deny that this man's ability to own the stage is captivating! I grew up predominately listening to western music and witnessing some of the most legendary artists live such as MJ, Prince, JT, Beyoncé, U2, Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, etc. As an avid concert-goer, I thrive on finding artists that will be worth every penny of my investment. Its never just the baseline talent like singing, dancing, instrument playing, technical specs...its the presence, detailing, the message, and the emotion that I seek for. I've been to many shows for a wide range of Korean artists starting back during 1st generation era. I still avidly go if and when there's a chance. Of all the artist out there from then till now, I've been blessed to see some of the most legendary....yet I must confess that Taemin takes the THRONE as one of the greatest in the last 20 years. I can't explain why still, i just know that every time he's performing...it's a wild journey and I'm in for a THRILLING ride!

Pure masterpiece is what this is, I've never been so amazed by a performance in my entire life of being a Kpop fan, Taemin has raised the bar for me, this was just art really, no proper words to explain how beautiful this was

This entire performance I was sitting at my computer with my mouth hanging open, unable to breathe. I don't see how anyone cannot recognize how incredible this man is when he performs. As someone who is Taemin biased myself, I nearly passed out watching this. Wow!!

허..카메라가 레알 발캠이네 2:33 에서 2:43 은 도대체 어딜 찍고싶었던거야..?? 어중간하게 찍고..심지어 눈에 있던 흰색 천 푸는 부분 킬포인데 턱만 찍으면 무슨 소용인데?? 하..역시 발캠..^^

I love this performance so much, I keep coming back to it every time...I feel like the dance and lyrics connect so well, i interpret it as taemin representing a person who's afraid of opening up to people close to him, literally not wanting any ''strings attached'' , because once he tells them every dark part of himself they can never go back to the way they used to be, because they might think differently of him. So he tells them not to open that door, and pushes everyone away, cutting them off but eventually is left alone, free to walk, but trapped in the prison of loneliness he unknowingly has build for himself

I've seen almost all the performances of mama 2017.. everybody sang good, danced like fire..were all over the stage.. and then Taemin appears! He's tided up and slays it! OMG he's so different and good! I'm a new fan of him!
