Proud owner of a 16 mazda 3 s touring. Couldnt agree more as far as driving dynamics, its just the best as far as compacts! The infotainment system is super easy to use once u get used to its menus. And the exterior styling is just exquisite! I would def recommend anyone to buy a 3. Mazda rocks!

Words like "pretty" should not be used this much. it's a vague intensifier that people use when they play it too safe and don't want to be decisive in what that they say. Dan is getting better but abuses that word often. It is a review of a product. Don't leave things up in the air by leaving it up to interpretation. everything is pretty nice, pretty well sorted out, pretty neat, pretty good fuel economy, pretty direct, pretty solid, pretty well. That's not exactly saying much.
@AutoGuide7 жыл бұрын
You seem pretty hung up on the use of adverbs when their use is really quite reasonable. It's kind of challenging to stop, though with some work we hope to pretty much sort it out soon.

AutoGuide.com so whats better, the mazda or the new impreza? seems the impreza beats it in everyway besides engine?
@kevinalan13357 жыл бұрын
Trying to give some constructive criticism. It's not helpful to use such a vague word for the reason I stated. It's lazy. I can review a phone (something I know little about) by using words like "pretty"... It's a pretty good phone. the phone is pretty intuitive and over all the phone is pretty well made. You'll pretty much like this phone. The glass feels pretty solid and it's pretty compact. Not too compact but pretty compact. I don't feel autoguide is willing to bring much to the table and lately seems unwilling. will probably see more overt advertisements. The views speak for them self. Upping the video quality can only take you so far. With more and more 'meh" content the solution is not to bring in more "meh' journalists. Dan is quickly becoming a face of Autoguide. If meh content is what you want to provide just disregard what I'm saying.

Second review I’ve seen describing the infotainment system as juvenile which is a curious adjective to use. I’ve heard other reviewers talk about leather being an option if you want to kill a cow (not Mazda). This proves to me that reviewers are stealing each other’s homework rather than writing their own. Watch one car review and save time by ignoring all the others

what mazda does in the g-vectoring is to reduce engine torque during cornering. it shifts the weight to the front so the outside tires has more traction. first thinking will be... isnt that will induce more understeering? but apparently not. it just not letting you gas during or entering corners. and it only happens in lower speed too. so this system is just like preventing idiots who put lots of gas in corner and kill themselve. damn purchased mine in 2015 and they already refreshed in 2017 with some tech upgrades... but i still like mine better with less angular looking and better rear bumper..

Unfortunately the nice blue is only available in the 2.5L car so add $2500 and the white interior is only available with a $2500 package. So I'll wait to see if this color is available in the GS model next year.

1:50 WTF?? They removed the stupid center console knee-interfering stud, but on the PASSENGER side, not the driver's side? So now the passenger can be nice and comfy, but the driver still hits the moronic plastic center console with his right calf, and if you're tall, you know how badly it impacts driving position and driving safety. This is the dumbest thing I have seen in years. BMW and Toyota (starting in 2018 model years) provide the knee relief on the left side, so you don't have to remove your right hand off the wheel when entering a sharp turn (otherwise it hits your thigh), and Mazda did it the OPPOSITE way? Is this because the driver sits on the right side in Japan, and they were too f# lazy and cheap and change the center console for the US and European markets? That's the only explanation I see.

@yan53627 жыл бұрын
wraloced .MacDaddyMarko am also looking for that answer. You must use the inbuilt head unit and plug a line output converter to give you RCA out to wire your amp which in turn will wire the speaker and sub. But a bit afraid about if our local shops here in mauritius will be able to do that without scratching, breaking or disturbing something

well reviewers just pick the obvious numbers like HP, because it's stares them in the face but what about the weight of the car and it's aerodynamic coefficient ? Why for example a Volvo s40 with the same specs (122 hp/220 Nm and yea I'm comparing with the mazda 3 G120 EU model) is more than 1,5 seconds slower on 0-100 ? well, they're casual reviewers that's why and all they can say is uuu, not enough power and no android auto or apple car play ..... go figure

Jee Vang also, in the US, in 2016, Honda sold over 1.6 million cars, up more than 6% over 2015. Maaaaazda sold less than 300,000, and down aprox 7% from 2015. Oh to be a "has been".

It depends on which Mazda you get. The Mazda 3 Isport is less than the price they are reviewing which doesn't have all the bells and whistles but he is talking about a Mazda 3 Grand Touring. I just bought the 2017 Mazda 3 Touring. I love it! It's definitely a step up from the Corolla or Civic.
