Fast as my E39 M5, rides as smooth as my Alpina B7, drop top aero is better than my Porsche 911. May be the perfect GT cruiser. Cockpit is lavish and seats are incredible.

You don't have to keep your hand up when your having the convertible top go down or up I have no idea why he kept his hand there

No wonder Mercedes canceled this car. After owning mercedes vehicles for over 40 years and ordering a S cab , this was the worst. No real usable space in the back seat , telematics was behind the time. The burmister high end optional audio system was horrible , flat , no depth. Controls were difficult to access . Seat bolsters useless. This car did a lot however very little did it do well. Mercedes missed the mark big time on this one. Couldn't wait to get rid of this expensive joke of a vehicle.

My S cab was a 2017., I believe was an S 500. The engine and transmission was exemplary. From that point on , it was down hill. I later learned the 2017 telematics was a carry over from earlier S coupes. Not what would be expected from a Mercedes flagship. Do yourself a favor , get an E cab - lots more space in the back , better telematics , more friendly control placements, I believe they made significant updates finally catching up on telematics on later S cab models but the poor space , poor user control layouts still persisted. I couldn't wait to get rid of the under performer. Dealer did nothing - Mercedes did nothing. Best of luck and if I can answer anything else , feel free to reach out. .
