Fuel economy can do better than what it's rated at, depends on weather and how you drive. My last fillup on my 2016 Countryman i averaged 29 mpg.

It's just the brand name, don't take it seriously. Don't expect they will change a brand name just because they create a bigger model.

Steve do you think a Mini would be better for a lease or long-term purchase regarding long-term reliability and cost of ownership?
@gsxellence7 жыл бұрын
Blake Swan I've been told that time and time again. I fell in love with the mini coupe years ago and wanted one for work. I guess it's a good thing I listened. Would you recommend a longterm rental over lease?
@DiwaGalvez7 жыл бұрын
Lease unless you'll keep it for obly 2 years, give or take.

In fairness, the MINI that returned to the USA in 2002 and the new batch of MINIs that launched 3 years ago are different stories. In J.D. Power's most recent Initial Quality Study and Vehicle Dependability Study, MINI was one of the highest-ranked nameplates.

Thank you I'll take this into consideration for my next purchase or lease. .

not a bad Forester XT competitor AND you can get a manual to boot...sure, some trade-offs btwn the 2, but definitely a worthy cross-shop...Steve, thanks for the review; I can see the FWD version doing everything you did/showed in the video while saving weight, price, and adding some simplicity...in this world of the disappearing 3rd pedal, it is refreshing to see it offered across the MINI model range...a VW product is still in my sights as a replacement for my aging GTI, but offerings such as this give me hope that "fun" can be had w/3 pedals and a hatch/wagon body style...cheers (going to miniusa.com to see what I can get at or below $30K :^] )

I love my 2015 Countryman. It has that bulldog look, that some call ugly. I’m not diggin this new Countryman. It’s big and long, and looks more like a soccer mom car. I will pass on it.

Todays mini cars are big and ugly and lost it's mini character when you compare it to the real Mr. Beans mini.

mrk107 All cars now and days are getting bigger and wider. Not just Mini.
@mrk10757 жыл бұрын
Daniel Sarabia Yeah that's ok for other cars today to get bigger because there not a mini.
