I think GTD that weekend was divide into the second group with E and F. Both groups seemed to have lots of good battles!

I will post it here for visibility, again: The sound is only messed up for Race 1. GoPro 5 issues took their toll, as I normally take the sound from the 4 but it had died. Thanks for watching, and what an epic weekend! Hope to be back in 2018.

Kevin Lenahan I would say start with autocross and seek out some HPDS in your area to go lapping. Sim racing is also a great intro.

It's only for Race 1. Blame GoPro for making the 5 audio almost unusable. I considered putting music over that race, but I'm not a fan of that, so I left it as is. If too many people hate it, maybe I'll repost it with music instead.

Lmao the first lap incidents on Race 2, both the porsche & the blue car (can't recognise what is it) had lift off oversteers? Especially the porsche, just lift off into oblivion haha Edit: Also, seems like the other E46 had much more power than yours & just blasted by on the straights! Are you getting any upgrades that helps with straight line speed this year?

He actually has the same power, but had a different setup that gave him better corner entry, which means he was able to carry more speed and pick up the throttle earlier. I had understeer that killed my exit, and cost me the win, ultimately. As for the Porsche, I think he actually just had a bit too much lock when he got on the power, and then over corrected. Hard to say how much lift was in the second part of it, but the first was power on. The Honda (Blue car) is a CTCC car without ABS. He just got late on the brakes trying to get inside of the other M3 and locked up. He destroyed his transmission in the process (IIRC).

why do you drive with your windows open? doesn't that slow you down?

David A. No windows in the front allowed unless they are lexan. The drag is minimal and most cars at this level have no windows and just netting.

PTG_St3v3oh All good observations! The Trans am car for sure did not expect me to beside him. I came from a long way back under braking and caught him off gaurd. The lambo was also I think a bit annoyed I got by him but I was laughing like a child about it! And the Mustang was a bit hot headed that race. I think he assumed he was tapped when he got oversteer in turn 14. He lead the class all weekend but he cooked his tires early in the final and then he got a penalty for this move. Took him out of contention completely.
