The flat bottom of the steering wheel was actually designed with tall drivers in mind. Your long legs will slide underneath the steering wheel without dragging across the wheel. If you want to call it sporty then that is up to you but an ergonomic engineer got it right for the tall drivers with the flat bottom steering wheel. That is of course if when you park the flat bottom part actually is in the bottom position.

I really wish i knew what the little slots on the top of the car, just above the door is for.. Are they Rain gutters?

@@kg_boom3r so I actually ended up adding a roof rack. I can’t recall what the slots are for, but you need a rack that uses a clip in the door jam. You CANNOT use those slots to mount it. I went with a rhino rack made for the rogue without side rails.
