when my rig hit 500k, i got ready for the worst. i spent over $30k from 500k miles to 650k miles . today im at 700k miles and its running like new. from 230k miles ( thats when i pick it up) to 500k miles was just oil change and tires. i been lucky with my lease so far

How you doing Jorge, in my opinion from experience i'd say a blown head gasket, bad liner or it could be a bad egr leaking that is causing the reservoir to pressurize. Best of luck to your friend God bless you all.

Jorge saludos hermano, don’t rely on warranty when big broke down are in site , they will hang of the minor facts to not pay the repair and blame you for the broke down trust me I have see it with few lease and owner operator that buy truck on dealerships they are waste of time, people if you are a owner operator or lease just be prepared for this situation, don’t expect that dealership are there to help you they will ripped you off , every truck is different and also you as a owner operator experience are different do not blame no one its how businesses are today . Keep forward.

That's true, make u wait another week or 2 to make a deal on the repair under warranty. When you paying up front they quick to fix. A warranty " hold up, wait a minute " put it on hold for a few weeks

I would find a good shop and get it tested for bad head gasket

Its trying to over heat it could be head gasket or intake gasket If no water oil mixed on dip stick or in radiator look for oil cooler gasket

When I drive my coolant goes low , it isn’t showing any coolant leak on the ground at all . But I can’t seem to find out where it’s going and what the problem is . Help please ,

@@christancurry3591 going out the exhaust skowly like mine. Eventually cracks enough to pressurize the coolant system. Do you notice a power loss? Gaining coolant in oil system? Oil in coolant?

It’s so hard for owner operators I had some bad luck well I bought a 1997 peterbilt 379 super nice truck bought for 11k so it was just a matter of time when something breaks I replaced transmission 13 speed and my rear ends broke both of them under load and broke axle shafts I’ve already put in 15k in repairs but I’ve made 180k my first year and with no bills that’s the only reason I’m making it at the moment.

Puede que si sea el EGR Cooler. O el sello de la cabeza o que se haya bajado una camisa. Compra un “block tester” de NAPA Auto parts o en linea. Es un liquido azul que detecta si hay gases de combustion. Primero te recomiendo hagas esa prueba, lo pones en la jeringa que viene arriba del tanque del antifreeze y con la bombita que viene le aplastas y si se pone amarillo-verdoso es que si es el bloque. Si no, puede que sea algo mas como el EGR. Me paso igual pero hice el test y no me salio la cabeza quebrada entonces cambié el termostato y EGR Cooler y parece que se arreglo. Abre tu egr cooler de las abrazaderas y metele el dedo (con el motor frio, para que no te quemes) y si sientes mojado o humedo eso va ser el EGR probablemente. Tambien checa el termostato, pueda ser que no este abriendo. 👍🏻

G, I never got a warranty from day one. So don't rely on a bowl of promises. That's all warranty is .

I have 2 friends that have had major problems and the warranty covered them both without any issues.. The warranty is from peterbilt not a third party..

Got like 20 piterbuilds 579 2018 with paccar 14 truck out of 20 head gascat around 450k miles what a disappointment 😞 23k$ for rebuild each
