Hi Bobby, this is by far one of the very best review if not the best for this absolutely gorgeous Peugeot 3008. Well super done for review this beauty! This is industrial design at it's very best considering that this is a production car.

The French are back at it with their daring designs. Definitely not what you call "common" or boring. And guess what. PSA has Fareucia. They also design and build new Mercedes-Benz interiors. And it is just a car that says F you to convention. I love it! Also there are 7 Speed torque converters. Some older Mercedeses use 7 Speeds like the E300 and S300.

My experience with Peugeot since 2013 is that despite its wonderful exterior design, the after sales service is always the thing that kills this brand and our experience. All in all, I wouldn't recommend any thing Peugeot in Malaysia unless you don't mind waiting for parts for months or don't mind their below par after sales service. But that's just me

Just bought one for my wife's present.... it was a fun drive from KL to Ipoh. And really it has got the power & performance being 1.6 turbo high pressured 2nd generation prince enhine and almost match the comfort of my Audi A6. However my children love the ride of this 3008 compared to my A6... wow congrates peugeot.!! This 3008 has got a very competitive price due to some tax rebate from our government (being SEA Games sponsor) on CBU ie 30% and 50% less for custom import duty tax and excise tax otherwise it would be rated about close to RM230K.

Hello Bobby.. no doubt that new Peugeout 3008 is a nice car. Giving a good review seem like giving a credit to the technology, designed and performance of Peugeout. However, pls Bobby be fair to the Peugeout’s owner about the slacking of the said model, at least they know where they stand. And ready to fork few thousands in case wear and tear cases and not covered by the warranty. Late getting parts also caused a headache most of the times.
@BobbyAngmalaysia4 жыл бұрын
So you bought this model? Mind telling me your story?
@mohamedjoeharrymohamedamin59914 жыл бұрын
Bobby Ang .. FYI, currently I owned Peugeou 408 Turbo and I have experienced pro and con situation. The good one, Peugeout will never charge any call back parts or any parts still under warranty. Unwanted incidents where late getting the affected parts and has to docked the car, parts not always available and in some cases too sensitive to the local whether. Even the roof cushion in the car loose and dropped. My wife keep on telling me to let go and never buy Peugeout in the future. Mind you at this point the mileage not reach 70,000 km and looked new after bought it in 2013. If I want to sell it off the value already dropped below RM50,000. Let the owners of new generation of Peugeout 3008 has to say about difficuties that they faced. Frankly, I am eager to have new generation of 3008 but seem unsure to proceed.

I have a 2012 peugeot 308 (not 3008). It is the HDi 2L diesel version. Had one problem just after warranty. Peugeot Australia fixed it - no cost for part. Have not had a single problem since. I drive hard and fast. The 2L diesel engine is, by far, the best of the Peugeot engines (that's from both my mechanics). I question a 1.6 engine for the 3008. A bit underpowered for my liking.

Hi Bobby, good honest and genuine review, have to agree with your thoughts on the interior design, really very nice and daringly different from many other manufacturers, especially the Japanese makes, for example like the Toyota Harrier, nice body design, but a dull design on the center panel with a boring looking gear stick.Many manufacturers are still very conservative in their thinking.

Checking out this car I wasn't convinced with the interior fit and finish compared to the vw tiguan. Secondly the ergonomic is not that good. I'll pick the tiguan anytime, living in Germany you'll understand why.
@samerbahgat6 жыл бұрын
I think the interior is way over designed something u will feel after the wow factor goes away and after few months of daily usage, just look at the Citroen DS 5 and how its interior felt so superior when it was first introduced back in 2011, and look back to it now and you will immediately feel how extremely odd it looks now, I think it's going to be the same case with this car
@jefftspang6 жыл бұрын
I drove the car for 6 months now. I have to disagree, I still love the interior everytime I step into it
@animasiongirl71186 жыл бұрын
Samer Bahgat... totally disagree with you.
@renyb16636 жыл бұрын
Well I already disliked the interior design of the DS5 when I saw it on IAA Frankfurt. It was too odd. The 3008 however is more futuristic, better quality, and originality is here put with a good taste (hot keys like older sportscar or plane, nice fabric material for door panels, and dashboard, I cockpit with practical small steering wheel below instrumentation, very good looking automatic gearbox BMW like). Since I live in Europe and some in my family owns one, they all say the car is very good. The only complain I heard from some of them was about the headlamp not being strong enough in night drive mode on countryside. That is the most complain of my godfather who was a die hard VW fan (Owned all Golf 1 to 6 models + Tiguan, and changed for the 3008 in 2017). He said the 3008 feels better to drive than the Tiguan (Diesel engine more sophisticated in 3008 than Tiguan, and without cheat mode in this one), built quality is at least as good if not even better with some materials choosed, Satnav is a bit faster and nicer in 3008, and inside room is comparable in both.
