Just to say thank you , I watched one of your clutch replacement vids on a old Fiat Doblo . I am currently in Andalusia in my micro camper when l lost the clutch peddle Fortunately I was somewhere where I could stop right away and stay the night . I watched your vid and decided to have go . After taking of the the battery and it’s tray l noticed the whole blooming clutch master cylinder had worked it’s loose and was hanging there . Wow a blooming plastic finger fitting into a spoon like cup and a few hours later I was back on the road . Thanks To You 😎🤙

Hello Kevin, good job, outside and in the rain! Top! But a question, because of the dsg transmission. Is the oil loss during degrading minimal? Can you continue to use the transmission normally, or do you have to change to the service and fill up the oil?
@WMCS2 ай бұрын
It will degrade and lose viscosity. So better to replace it every two years max. I will be taking the gearbox out. And replace the clutch pack and flywheel. Plus upgrade the transfer box. So stay tuned ..

I need to swap out the radiator support bracket on the passenger side, how many hours labour would you say that is roughly, and does the coolant need to be drained for that bracked to be removed? looks like some pipes may be in the way.

Wow, this is cray amount of work to replace a radiator, it is usally a straight forward job, drain the coolant, remove the fan, disconnect lowervand upper radiator hose, pull the old radiator out, installing a new radiator ia just reverse, never thought you need to dismental the entire front end to just to replace the radiator! The car designers just have no love for the mechanics.

I noticed u using the the M12 impact ratchet. In your latest vid it must b an older one because u r using the 1/4 drive M12, which I know u haven’t used for a long time. I wrench all the time and have all those tools too. From one tech to,another, get the 3/8 stubby gun. U will use it for 40% of your nut and bolt work. U r using the super heavy 1/2 drive gun for a lot of things the 3/8 gun will handle and it’s a feather. I know u hate to change from the old faithful tools. The 3/8 gun is much faster than the ratchet. A lot of your time is spent listening to the ratchet winding. Last week I changed an all wheel drive trans on a 2019 Acadia. I am old and spoiled, I work by myself and have two lifts and a pit in my shop. The last time I removed an automatic trans using a creeper was 1998. We don’t have hardly any manual transmissions in LA where I live. MASSIVE respect to the way u maul them in and out. I did jack stands and creeper up till 1986 when I put a pit in my shop. I did my first automatic that actually worked when I was eighteen in 1968. It was a Ford cast iron cruisamatic 3 speed. I love your channel!!! U r amazing!!!

This is crazy to have to dismantle the entire front of a car to replace a radiator. These cars aren’t meant to be repaired. So many plastic parts and so many opportunities to break one. Can you imagine in 10 years when all these parts will be dry out and the plastic will be so brittle that everything will break. Being a Porsche owner (Cayman 2007), I’m disappointed by Porsche’s engineering these days.
