2017 Ram 1500 Sport Night Edition with Mopar performance package (exhaust and intake).

Walk around and sound clip of my 2017 RAM 1500 Sport Night package. 4x4 Crew Cab with the 5.7l Hemi v8 and 8spd transmission. Rambox, leather, sunroof, running boards, Alpine stereo, air suspension, etc....
You can get this truck in either quad or crew configuration (only 5'7"bed with rambox and crew configuration. It's also available with the pentastar v6 and in 4x2 configuration.
I had a 2016 big horn before and this truck rides a little sportier between the 20" wheels with lower profile tires and the air suspension.
I love these trucks, from the ride to the sound, they have always been very reliable, not given me ANY probelms or issues and always got the job done.

In my own opinion, red & black is the best color combo on any pickup truck & sports car if you're looking for that sporty/racing type of look, because the colors just collide with each other with the contrast relation between the two. Sold my 03 ram flame red 4.6 for the 2017 5.7 bighorn metalic black . I just put 500 miles .All I can say is holy crap . Every option except sunroof . It cruises at 65 mph . Hard to keep it at 60 lol. Mopar never let me down and this is no exception . Enjoy the red . I miss mine .

I wish they had the mopar performance pack when i got my 1500 Sport. May have to see if the dealer can add that onto my truck next time I'm getting service. Good luck with it and enjoy! Also the Sport has a different grill than your truck so if you want it to look like a sport you may want to do a grill swap.

sure, they make it... but it costs about 2k for the lift and according to BDS its a 6 on a 1-5 difficulty scale to install. Faults are pretty common after - and if you need a recharge the system, it uses nitrogen, which in most DIYers case - requires a trip to a dealer, and a negotiation for them to touch it after you have lifted it.

Go Pro that's why you should just go for the power wagon. Toyita makes a decent truck but it's not HD enough. it's too car like. they don't even offer a trailer brake controller integrated, you have to get an aftermarket one spliced into the wiring... keep your eye on what's to come from RAM. 2019 is a redesign year for light duty. A little birdie told me they're going to have a "raptor killer" something along the lines of the trx...

ChruiSSer ... the Toyota TRDpro is a visually beautiful truck; the '17 cement color is pure genius. If I was in my 20's again it would be what I would buy. Being able to buy a truck out of the box & take it anywhere in the state of NY (upstate ... not where those city rats live) and go trailing & up the mountains or mud bogging is awesome. Yet, I'm not. I'm a grown man, a journeyman ironworker, husband & father. I pull a 30' trailer (upgrading to a 5th wheel or an Airstream) long distances. Our closest vacation location is Ocracoke island on the OBX .. 700 something miles from our home. My '07.5 1500HD Z71 with 293k+ miles is tired. She needs to be retired and sent to pasture. Any Chevy Bow-Tie Big-Block for life will admit that any Mopar Hemi is not just beautiful but acceptable to buy and become a Mopar guy. That being said, I've decided on a Ram 2500HD MegaCab Laramie Longhorn with the 6.7L Hemi Gasser. The only reason why I'm not buying the 6.2L Cummins with the Aisin transmission is because I know gas engines; switching to a diesel motor would render me useless & at the mercy of the dealership. The power is equal .. people need to get real & understand that no one other than 18wheelers or 5th western rearends, horse trailers & small commercial car carriers need 900ft #'s of torque. 400ft #'s is too much. Yet today's world it's all about more. Hence Ford using their F-450 to compare it to Chevy & Rams 3500's. Bizarre. I'm 6'9"s so the MegaCab is actually my size. It's not a Freudian compensation for a lack of size in other departments. My wife & children are as tall. However, the new PowerWagon is OhSo-Sweat. The floor diff shifter is how trucks should be, along with rubber floors. Yet I need that extra 18"s. Nothing except a car seat or our beagle fits behind me. So in the longest most boring & long winded response possible, yes ... I'm going to buy a Ram. Did I mention the price. Since I'm paying cash all at once, my dealer quoted in writing a price (including every option .. the 1st aid kit, trailer package, snow chief, luxury package, sunroof, the 6.7L hemi, 4.10 Dana rear end, a 10' Meyer split Snowplow with hand controls, LED strobes in the upper brake & rev lights & the lower brake & rev lights, full limo tint on all 4 windows & the front DOT line, moving the driver seat back 4"s & a couple more) at $43k. That's not much off the top, once you take Dodge discounts & dealer incentives into consideration. I did a "build & price" for comparison on the Ford website; using the Lariat model (I thought that was the fairest, yet the King Ranch was the equivalent model). Once I selected the exact options the price was $63k. I checked my local Ford dealership & their national inventory & sure enough, $63k was the ballpark. The King Ranch FYI was $81k. That's a truck with a plastic interior, death rattle front end, no gasoline engines able to power the truck so you're forced to buy the ever changing diesel motor which no matter what or which diesel motor you buy the turbo(s) will not make it past 25,000 miles, the smallest rear window ever made yet it will cost you $495, the linex bed liner costs you $999 .. it's not standard, you pay $1,900 for delivery fee for a truck that's right in front of your face, HID headlights & LED rear lights aren't available never-mind an option, the "leather" isn't really a cowhide leather .. it's a scientifically engineered leather that they can legally call "leather" .. after they inject it with a major amount of engineered "leather" perfumed smell .. that's why when you're shopping for trucks and open a King Ranch door you get blasted with the smell of leather on a cold overcast winter day opposed to opening a Ram Laramie Longhorn on a hot summer sunshiny day and you smell "new car" .. once you get in it and start the motor and run the A/C you get to enjoy the smell of leather. And those are just a few factual differences. We won't even discuss the use of Aluminum in the frame & chassis .. as a 24yr Iron Worker (and Apprentice Instructor at our Union Hall) we all know the difference between a structural steel frame & a structural aluminum frame. You're going to see a massive recall, the largest recall in automotive history (bigger than Toyota's truck recall) within a couple of years; once the insurance companies & police departments begin to statistically seeing a pattern of fatalities with aluminum frames. Just like every magnesium made fuel cell integrated frame hybrid vehicle was outlawed within a year after release ... because magnesium + water creates a chemical reaction that equals to a catastrophic explosion and fire. Yet there was no way a Fire Dept or FireFighters could recognize or identify these vehicles. So the State of California ordered all FD's to not extinguish any car fires for those vehicles; after several FF's died. Which triggered the recall. I'm sure someone in the State of California is already counting 2017 Ford truck accidents & injury/fatalies v. 2016 numbers, 2015, 2014. Soon Ford will be out of business. How the **** does anyone with a brain use aluminum for a structure. I've seen stupid **** done by ridiculous engineers in 24yrs of spudding iron, yet none of it was chincing aluminum for iron to save weight that they added right back onto the chassis. I feel bad for all those guys that actually drank the Kool-Aid & are stuck making $1,200 payments on that F-450 Platinum that the insurance company technically "scrapped" yet the lien holder won't, so their making payments on a truck no one will insure.

Last week i notice under the truck there oil everywhere. Took it in now they told me that the rear main seal is leaking . I got super piss u will not aspect that shit from a Toyota car right. But I happen to work at a chrysler dealership n they happen to have a left over new 2016 ram1500 limited with 12000 dollar off. So I end trading my tundra for the ram. I'm Asian so I'll be the first one to drive a ram out off my family friend and relatives.
